Today the Global Insurrection Movement (aka “Occupy Wall Street”) crowned their new queen.  Roseanne Barr has announced she wants to run for president on a platform based on teaching the young that the guilty (Banksters) must be punished.  Of course she’s going to give them the option of going to the reeducation camps, however, if that doesn’t work…she’s prepared to bring back the guillotine.  (Just so you know…she said all this with a straight face.)  Does this mean she’s now in favor of the death penalty?

(DigitalJournal)…Speaking on the Russia Today television network, comedian and community activist Roseanne Barr sought to rekindle the guillotine, insisting the ultra-rich should be beheaded for not giving up their wealth.  18th Century France had such bountiful delights; if only the United States could go retro. Echoing and distorting an agenda of class warfare that has been set in motion by the divisiveness in Congress and the White House over proposals to increase taxes on the nation’s upper-income population, actress, comedian, writer and community activist Roseanne Barr advocated for the return of the guillotine in comments she made on the Russia Today television network.

“Part of my platform is, of course, that the guilty must be punished, and we can no longer let our children see our guilty leaders getting away with murder because it teaches children that they don’t have to have morals and that as long as they have guns and are bullies they will win, and I don’t think that’s a good message,” Barr said. “I do say that I am for the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty.” Barr recently announced her intention to run for President of the United States as well as the Prime Minister of Israel, stating on her web site: “Everything used to be beautiful when women were in charge, and now I, working as the physical manifestation of the goddess Isis and the reincarnation of Cleopatra, have decided to save the world.”

But who are the worst of the worst of Roseanne Barr’s guilty? “I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay back anything over $100 million in personal wealth, because I believe in a maximum wage of 100 million dollars,” Barr explained. “And if they are unable to live on that amount, then they should go to the re-education camps. And if that doesn’t help, then be beheaded.”
President Obama has crafted a two-part jobs and deficit-reduction bill, with over $1 trillion in new taxes aimed at Americans earning $200,000 or more. The White House posture was met with claims of class warfare from the Republican leadership in Congress, many of whom expressed concern over what they see as divisive policies that likely will not turn around the nation’s floundering economy. The vague attributions of guilt toward Wall Street has also recently led to the “Occupy Wall Street” protest, resulting most recently in the arrest of 700 people on the Brooklyn Bridge, as USA Today reported on Sunday. While Warren Buffett’s suggestion that a select number of ultra-rich see an uptick in their income tax rate, Roseanne Barr’s guillotine proposal is levied at those earning a personal income of $100 million or more.

Hmmmmm……It’s interesting that she should pick that number, because her own net worth is estimated at $80 million.
