The liberal group has sent emails to its list nationwide, urging a mass-protest outside Wal-Mart stores on Black Friday. Lindsey Stone and Jamie Schuh are no better than Fred Phelps and the creepy people from Westboro Baptist Church.  Period.   There are no acceptable varying degrees, or nuanced grey areas, regarding disrespect of desecration of our dead soldiers.

BOSTON (CBS) – Two women have been placed on unpaid leave from their jobs after their photo at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia angered thousands of people on Facebook.  — Lindsey Stone was visiting the Tomb of the Unknowns last month on a business trip when she posed for a picture next to a sign that reads “silence and respect.”

The bankruptcy judge listened to Hostess request for liquidation of assets but noted a technical aspect.   The Union never entered any mediation – they just went on strike.  Thinking the average rank and file union member might have a divergent opinion now they they realize the company will indeed liquidate, the Judge says give mediation a try now, thinking the union will pressure the leadership to change opinion.

TWINKIE PRIDE – Hostess Brands Inc. and its second largest union will go into mediation to try and resolve their differences, meaning the Irving, Texas-based company won’t go out of business just yet. The news came Monday after Hostess moved to liquidate and sell off its assets in bankruptcy court citing a crippling strike last week.

The bankruptcy judge hearing the case says that the parties haven’t gone through the critical step of mediation and asked the lawyer for the bakery’s union to ask his client, who wasn’t present, if he would agree to participate. (more…)

Bear with me, this needs somewhat of a set up.    After watching President Obama get re-elected, despite the insufferably painful in-your-face and pocketbook policies that are economically destructive to a brutal point, it is painfully obvious there is much heavy lifting needed.

I have now fully digested all the Romney folks who give their excuses, the Cocktail Class Decepticons who give their insight, and the beltway Republicans -who still think Mitch McConnell is a reasonable face for the party. Seriously?  Talk about “moderation”, vis-a-vis acquiescence to the leftist progressive principles.

The progressive intolerant President Obama campaign was a cynical one, and using his own words “revenge,” based in large part on division amid the electorate; noting Millionaires/Billionaires are now couples making $250k or more, and freebies like birth control at the expense of religious liberty; with promises of more “stuff” like amnesty to illegal aliens, bailouts for unsustainable union contracts and bigger government like the takeover of student finances, to “spread the wealth;”  and if you didn’t like it, well, you were a racist.   People fell for it.

Essentially, the final insight I personally was waiting to understand, was to see who the new face of the RGA would be, and who they would put forth as the messenger for the party headed to 2014/2016.   Bobby Jindal, was selected and now he provides the roadmap to how Republicans are going to approach the electorate moving forward: (more…)

But don’t look up…..  NEW YORK – There was real-life drama at Paul Rudd’s Broadway play “Grace” when an audience member who appeared drunk threw up over a mezzanine railing onto theatergoers below. “A drunk guy vomited over the railing onto about a dozen audience members seated in the orchestra, right in the middle of one of Rudd’s big monologues on Wednesday.”

[So] said one disgusted witness, adding, “There was mass chaos for several minutes, but the cast played right on through, ignoring the disruption.” Spies added of the nauseous fellow, “It was very apparent that alcohol was to blame” for the incident. (more…)

It cannot be stated frequently enough the simple fact, yes fact, that Democrats are the party who: uses race to divide people, are violent to an extreme, advocate for murdering police and law enforcement, and are consistently caught bombing and destroying America.

Whether President Obama’s mentor Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground in the 1960’s, or Nancy Pelosi’s Occupy Movement in 2011/12, the goal of the left is to destroy, kill, and assassinate.

It was the Occupy protestors who attempted to blow up a bridge and infrastructure in Cleveland. It was the Occupy protestors who chant “kill the cops” in Oakland. And now, more recently, it is an occupy “Doctor” who is arrested for making bombs and weapons in his basement.

And Nancy Pelosi says: “God Bless Them“…

Today we wish the best of days to our own “ytz4mee”… blogger, warrior, and mighty voice for conservative principles. Yatz is a woman on the go, and you never know from where she may be popping in from time to time as she swings by and grabs a limb on the Tree. She has inexhaustible energy,  and passionately gives voice to the principles we all hold so near and dear. Today, we hope she’ll pause in the pursuits of  battle,  settle down under the Tree,  and join us for some coffee, a bit of peameal bacon, and a generous helping of cake as we join in celebration of her birthday. (I’ll bet someone might even stop in with a Silver Bullet or two and a bottle of Jack a little later in the day, just to keep things going.)

FLORIDA – The St. Lucie County Canvassing Board has ordered the retabulation of all early votes in the highly contested congressional race between Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) and Democrat Patrick Murphy, according to Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a volunteer lawyer for the West campaign. The board voted 2-1 in favor of recounting the votes.

“This retabulation of all early votes as the Supervisor of Elections originally planned is a victory for democracy,” Shapiro told TheBlaze. “This restores some level of trust and public confidence in the system…it was the right thing to do.” (more…)
