Et tu ?

Only partially tongue in cheek.

Perhaps some of the outer circle Z’s, The Mesa’s, The Osterman’s and various other semi-associated outliers et al  should hold a giant BBQ over the Labor Day holiday weekend and gather together in fellowship.

After lunch they can circle the lawn chairs, break out legal pads and collectively decide who is going to be allowed to “cash in”.    Through the rules process of closed collective bargaining once the “who” is determined they can then draw up a collaborative annual schedule, and timeline, for “cashing-in” activities.

Perhaps Mark O’Mara could be invited to moderate the discussion (I would recommend maybe bring a couple of bouncers) then, after determinations of agreement, he can facilitate and write up the contractual agreements about who can do what, when and for how much.

No need to invite George, he is irrelevent to the process.

(oh, but reminder – the crew would need George to pay O’Mara for his time and trough construction, so keep track of the time and submit the bill for payment…. k? )

Chapter One – The Osterman Book and The Dangers Of Misplaced Advocacy

Note from the CTH:  This post is independently authored by an anonymous guest of the Treehouse. This is part two in a series of independently submitted guest posts.   We are unable to determine or validate if the content discussed is indeed the substantive content of an upcoming book, we are the conduit host and present for informational purposes of discussion:

George Zimmerman was not involved in the collaboration of this book and makes no guarantee of its accuracy or content.  The comments added here to the known text of the Osterman book were not made by George Zimmerman, and should not be construed as the only comments that George Zimmerman may have regarding the publishing of this book.

As previously presented by the guest author:  Upon initial review there appear to be numerous “mistakes” in [an upcoming] book, and even several specific items that we feel are outright fabrications. These aspects may be intended to help the book sell well, but they also present some serious factual concerns.

The areas of concern will be highlighted, and honestly rebutted, during the course of a number of guest posts here at the Treehouse over the next several days.

These areas to be addressed could potentially be damaging to George Zimmerman, and I feel it is important to address each of them individually.

In the next several days the excerpts, responses and summaries you will read are my “Guest Posted” words and my opinion. While I will share the content of the upcoming book, as I know it, the rebuttal or challenge to the book will be mine alone.

The intent of rebuttal is meant to bring these fabrications, falsehoods and concerns to light, and such retort is provided for the benefit of those who will ultimately read the published book and have questions about its accuracy.

I am, quite simply, trying to get out ahead of what “could be” a well intended attempt at public support, which simultaneously creates a significant and potentially damaging series of unintended consequences.

Chapter One – That’s What Friends Are For

(excerpt)  Mark Osterman Writes ~  […]  Then, Shellie and I flanked George as we walked to my car in the [police] station parking lot. I mentioned to George that we thought it wise for them both to stay in our spare bedroom for the night. I then, added, “And, we probably need to stop by the hospital and get you checked out.”

He [George Zimmerman] immediately declined the hospital stop, “I just want to go to your house and try to get some sleep. For some reason, I am bone weary and almost have to sleep right now.” I understood.

For the next fifteen minutes, or however long it took to make the drive to our home in Lake Mary, George recounted what he knew of the deadly encounter with the young black man; we did not know his name at this point. (more…)

Osterman Nerve(s)

Below is an e-mail from Sondra Osterman regarding the position of her and Mark Osterman about their book on George Zimmerman:

But apparently the Osterman Family Does (e-mail below

Hello.

I was just made aware of your post and I wanted to take a moment to add a little truth to your story. I’m not sure who your “source” is; however, the book has only been given for review by myself, my husband and Mark O’Mara in a confidential setting and someone other than these 3 people releasing anything would mean they’ve obtained it illegally and civil ramifications will be assessed. The book IS copyrighted and ANY release of any portion would be a copyright violation and civil action would be taken.  That being said I can assure you that we DID give the copyrighted manuscript (unedited and only partially completed) to Mark O’Mara so that he could review it and let us know if we need to make any changes to the content because the intent of the book is to HELP George not hurt him. The Unintended Consequences of Selfish Pursuits – The Osterman Book and The Dangers Of Misplaced Advocacy

This informational post is independently authored by a guest of the Treehouse.  Part One in a continuing series of independently submitted guest posts:

“The Introduction”

On the night of February 26th, 2012, the life of George Zimmerman was changed forever.

Since that date he has been saddled not only with the anguish of having to take a life to save his own, but he has needed to endure the obligatory state-sponsored witch hunt to boot.

These are the burdens that few ordinary humans will ever have to bear. In times like these it’s always better to surround yourself with people who you TRUST.

Inevitably, in this day of GREED and SELFISHness, there are many people who use situations like this as a platform to further their own agenda. George Zimmerman has seen this GREED manifest itself in many forms from those he considers his best confidants. (more…)

Inside The Osterman Book – The Danger Discussed – A CTH Exclusive Series

If you have visited this site for any significant amount of time you know our position:

There are so many self-serving parties and affiliations within the Trayvon Martin shooting it is almost impossible to describe them all, and from the outset of our research and analysis of this now national case we have remained consistent with our approach.

We try diligently to present the information as it appears, to the best of our ability, without placing ourselves as a filter for the information.   We present the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of it all; and there is much ugliness as a direct outcome of money and financial positioning.

When approached by Ryan Julison we refused to be a part of the filtration system instead offering our site as a direct host for his perspective unedited.   To insure the absence of our perspective of his position bleeding into the narrative we asserted that we would not narrate his story, we would present it exactly as he presents.   He declined.  That approach is not within his paradigm.

There is enough filtering, and skewering/twisting of information; that approach is not within our mission statement. (more…)

Bye Bye Lester… Zimmerman Judge Removed By Appeals Court Decision For Bias in Zimmerman Rulings

The appellate court has agreed with defense attorney Mark O’Mara, and the accused George Zimmerman, that Judge Kenneth Lester is prejudiced in his rulings against Zimmerman and that George Zimmerman has reason to believe he is unable to receive a fair trial.   Subsequently Ken Lester has been removed.

Opinion filed August 29, 2012 – Petition for Writ of Prohibition
Kenneth R. Lester, Jr., Respondent Judge. – Mark M. O’Mara, of O’Mara Law Group,
Orlando, and Donald R. West, of Don West Law Group, P.A., Orlando for Petitioner.

Pamela J. Bondi, Attorney General, Tallahassee and Pamela J. Koller, Assistant Attorney General, Daytona Beach, for Respondent.  PER CURIAM.

George Zimmerman petitions for issuance of a writ of prohibition. This is the proper mechanism for challenging the denial of a motion to disqualify a trial judge. See,
e.g., Lusskin v. State, 717 So. 2d 1076, 1077 (Fla. 4th DCA 1998).

Reviewing the matter de novo, see R.M.C. v. D.C., 77 So. 3d 234, 236 (Fla. 1st DCA 2012), we grant the petition. (more…)

Dr Phil Preview For The Osterman Book on George Zimmerman (Trailer New Season video)

(OrlandoSentinel) “Dr. Phil” last season turned to the Casey Anthony story with several high-profile episodes featuring George and Cindy Anthony.

This season, the syndicated series will take up another Central Florida story: George Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Travyon Martin. In a season preview clip, Dr. Phil McGraw asks two guests about Zimmerman. “Is he a racist? Is he a cowboy vigilante?” McGraw asks.

“Absolutely not,” says Mark Osterman, who describes himself as “the best friend of George Zimmerman, the most hated man in America.” McGraw notes that Osterman has never spoken out about Zimmerman. Osterman is a U.S. air marshal and former Seminole County deputy.

The new season starts Sept. 10. “Dr. Phil” airs at 3 p.m. weekdays on WOFL-Channel 35.

The “Dr. Phil” show, on its website, asks viewers: “Can you relate to George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin?” (more…)
