Question submitted via email to the TreeHouse Tip Line

Question: I’ve been on the side of Zimmerman is Not Guilty etc ever since the evidence started showing up, next to none of it even *remotely* suggesting a crime, and all the circumstantial stuff that people claim make him guilty I know is so easy to explain in light of the facts…except for one.
The lack of GZ’s blood on Trayvon’s hands. I know breaking a nose wouldn’t put any blood there, bashing in his head, etc. I know it’s possible to give one hell of a beating and end up with no bruising or blood on your hands.
But putting your hands over someone’s nose and mouth after the nose is broken and bleeding…has it been answered somewhere how that blood didn’t get on Trayvon’s hands? (A mixed DNA profile on one sleeve *could* explain it but that seems thin). (more…)

SANFORD – George Zimmerman‘s defense attorney was expected to do the predictable thing: beg the judge’s forgiveness and ask him to again let the Neighborhood Watch volunteer go free until his trial on a second-degree murder charge.
Instead, Mark O’Mara swung for the fences. He put on a dramatic three-hour murder defense and submitted a pile of evidence designed to prove Zimmerman’s innocence.

It left the judge with hours of evidence to review and no chance to make a quick decision. It is not clear when Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. will announce his ruling.
The bottom line, according to O’Mara, is that Trayvon Martin beat and bloodied his client, pounded his head into a sidewalk and wound up “shot and killed because of his own doing.” (more…)
Pulled from a comment provided by GZTheCourageous. I am working my way through the myriad of considerations and doubt I will offer more than just surface response. Lots to flesh out on this, and before anyone comments please think though the variety of issues, highly consequential issues, the considerations outlined in this email provide. Our hand was forced because this communication was dropped into a discussion thread, and in a general sense, as presented, it carries no risk.
It is innocuous enough to allow to stand, and obviously O’Mara thought it “safe” to exist. But further expansion most certainly would present risk. I just cannot find the words right now to explain so that everyone would understand. The last thing O’Mara or Zimmerman need right now is the perception of advice from a “blog” (Please read between the lines on my statement, Thanks) /Sundance

(Written by GZTheCourageous) Wanted to post this email I received from Mr. O’Mara. Sundance, would you please contact him regarding a chat where we could directly ask him questions, as he suggests? Thanks.

I sincerely appreciate the criticism… there are many more nuances to consider regarding the presentation, and I will respond in more detail… I truly appreciate all the great work done by everyone over there so far, and really take ur comments to heart… rest assured the presentation was metered for very specific purposes, as this is a long-game approach the bull dog mentality would be premature…. goal for today is to get him out, that’s all…… I will respond better shortly….
Pls pass on, and I would like to c if we could set up a chat session so I could respond directly to q’s.. just need to maintain a level of security over the communications…

*Note O’Mara shares the current Zimmerman Defense Fund balance is $211,000 with various considerable expenditures now taking place. Considering $50,000 was placed in a living account by O’Mara for the Zimmermans in hiding, and now entering the paid testimony costs, lawyer costs, and attorney staff charges, the burn rate is considerable. It would be interesting to know how much in total was contributed to date.
They must have received well in excess of $300,000 so far, and with an estimated projection for total defense cost exceeding $1 million they have quite a way to go.
Hey all, anyone else noticed Fox has pulled an NBC? Look at this video:
At the 2:45 mark they edited out where GZ says “okay” in response to the dispatch saying “okay we don’t need you to do that” which to my mind is a HUGE HUGE edit to do, and doesn’t buy enough time to justify it under a “oh we needed to keep the segment under a certain length” or anything. They excised that exact piece of audio. They cut it to sound like it was never there. Exactly as NBC did. – Fathomable
The audio on this video is not good. However, it is understandable if you turn your volume up to 100%.
Analogy – George Zimmerman Does NOT Need Mitch Daniels – George Zimmerman Needs Chris Christie. Or at least Atticus Finch
Why does Mark O’Mara “parse” his words.? “Broken”/”Fractured” et al. The defense attorney’s job is to be a STAUNCH advocate for his client George Zimmerman. The prosecuting attorney a staunch advocate for the State Of Florida. (more…)

Sorry guys, but I’ve been out of loop on family day…. playing catch-up…. Here is some prelim information…. (more soon)

ORLANDO – A Florida judge is delaying his decision on whether to let George Zimmerman out of jail on bond, saying he will rule on the matter later.
Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman’s $150,000 bond earlier this month after he said Zimmerman, who awaits trial for the death of Trayvon Martin, and his wife intentionally tried to dissemble about their financial situation in April so that he could get out on bond. The pair did not disclose more than $100,000 raised on a legal defense fund website. Zimmerman’s wife is charged with perjury. (The site raised more than $200,000 in donations.) (more…)
