In November 2010, during the “lame duck” legislative session post-election, I took considerable heat via mocking and ridicule for a fundamentally abhorrent position to Republicans.   I said then:  “give President Obama everything he wants” !

Which included:

• Elimination of Bush tax rates (all of them)
• A new $1 Trillion + Omnibus spending bill which people called “Porkulous”
• Repeal of Don’t ask Don’t Tell
• Extension of Unemployment Benefits 
• The 9/11 First responders payoffs bill
• and more….

Because this was the 2010 “rebuke” election where President Obama had just been delivered a “shellacking” by the conservative takeover of the House of Representatives, many people openly ridiculed me as ‘out-of-my-mind’. (more…)

*Note:  The last budget ever signed into law was signed in September 2007 by George W. Bush.  Since then the Democrat party has manipulated the political sphere to insure all spending happens by “Continuing Resolution”, thereby embedding the “Stimulus” into the baseline budget of all spending moving forward.   When the Dems began this process the entire accumulated national Debt was $8.5 Trillion (July 1776 to Sept 2007) – It is now grown beyond $16 Trillion in 5 years….

The unbearable hypocrisy of the Democrat party, supported by the irrelevent Institutional Legacy Media, is really annoying today.   I don’t know if I can survive four years of this…

The latest two examples are the “Fiscal Cliff” from President Obama’s Sequestration can-kicking, and the pontificating demands of the progs for “bi-partisan support”.   (Bi-Partisan is leftist code word for ‘give us what we demand’ or we’ll call you obstructionists). (more…)

I write this not as a partisan, but as one American who has been engaged in extensive political research for five solid years.   The picture in our current banner is reflective of my feeling right now:  Hands outstretched toward the heavens asking “why”?   Not why did Mitt Romney lose, but why cannot our citizenry see what they just did?

By now most of you know my approach at understanding events, and their surrounding outcomes.  Events that create both intended, and unintended consequences.

That approach is research; pure research to understand the specifics of the circumstances and understand the mindset behind the people within the events being portrayed.

The “why” is more valuable than the “what”.

So I hope you will digest this analysis with the understanding this is not a series of guesses, projections, or predictions.   This is merely assembling the puzzle bits – organizing them, placing them into their logical pattern of connectivity – then standing back and looking at what is factually evident within the assembly. It has been an exhausting slog this journey, this adventure.   Along the way we’ve had some truly shockingly cruel things said about us purely because we believe in limited government and fiscal conservatism.

We’ve been called extremists, hobbits, gun-toting bitter bible clingers, the enemy and more, much more.    Why?   Because in a larger sense we simply belive that we, as Americans, should be self-reliant and personally responsible;  but also we believe that when we are allowed to depend on ourselves, we are stronger, more successful, take greater pride in ourselves and our work, and are more likely to make positive contributions to society. MADISON, Wis. — The tea party, at least its widespread influence on Republican congressional candidates, “is over,” declared the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the party group charged with electing Democrats to the House.

“House Republican incumbents—and their candidates—are running as far away from the Tea Party as they can,” a pre-election DCCC memo provided to Yahoo News reads. “Regardless of whether [Republicans] win or lose, the Tea Party of 2010 is over. They’ve been forced on defense in the message fight all cycle long, and now those who win will have done so by giving up on the Tea Party.”

The memo argues that Republican lawmakers who arose from the tea party are now promoting bipartisanship and willingness to compromise in their re-election bids instead of embracing the hard-line messages that propelled their campaigns two years ago. (more…)
