(Via SBPDL)  The Warriors is movie in dire need of a re-make. Made in 1979, the movie is a tale of rival gangs in New York City and, well, isn’t a good movie.

Based on a book by Sol Yurick, the director and casting agents of The Warriors was forced to add white characters to the eponymous gang because Paramount (which would be distributing the film) didn’t think an all-Black cast would have any “commercial appeal.”
Yurick’s book doesn’t have a white character, and the re-make of The Warriors should try and be as true to the source material as possible.

With one exception: move the location of the gang-war to Chicago, a city already besieged by the type of violence Yurick wrote about. More to the point, the participants are already the correct racial hue.

There is something going on, something odd, with returning combat military soldiers.   They are closely tracked, there is a concerted and coordinated following of their activity, and, in many cases, odd interventionist steps by the federal government via law enforcement to remove/restrict their assimilation into mainstream society.

I don’t know how to connect all these seemingly random, yet not disparate, dots into a cogent discussion thread, but something is definitely afoot.   Something.

We saw it recently with the former Marine who was removed from his home for a facebook post questioning government; and in a larger sense, that one example does not stand alone.  Located within various chat-rooms, websites, patriot corners etc. etc. you will find multiple examples of government officials taking custody of veterans under various auspices, mostly psychological concerns.

Do not let the media frame this pending chaos on the “Anarchist” contingent of the Occupy folks, this is the Occupy Wall Street mainstream movement.   The ones Nancy Pelosi “blessed” last year.

The media will frame the violent activity as ‘extremist’ to deflect accountability away from  President Obama and Nancy Pelosi the same way they did when Occupy Oakland turned massively violent.  Watch the bias framing closely…..

Washington (CNN) — Law enforcement officials are concerned about possible violence by anarchist extremists at the upcoming Republican and Democratic national conventions, according to an intelligence bulletin prepared by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security.

The bulletin, which was obtained by CNN, says that anarchists could try to use improvised explosive devices  (IED’s).

It also says that, as of March, the FBI had intelligence indicating individuals from New York “planned to travel to Tampa and attempt to close” all of the Tampa Bay-area bridges during the Republican National Convention next week. (more…)

The socialist society known as Greece is ramping up its effort at detention and deportation of illegals.  This is a historically specific consequence of progressive ideology running its full course.

In ideologically progressive society the economic “pie” is seen as static.  The pie must be apportioned or shared to create “fairness” in wealth or capital distribution.

When the government runs out of money from the production class, gained from forced confiscation of wealth (taxation) from the productive members of society, the government takes steps to reduce the dependent class aiming first at those defined as “least deserving”. (more…)

Earlier last year I presented an image  of the Prog Utopia (seen below).   Many thought it was over-the-top and a little “out there” regarding their ideology.

(CNSNews.com) – Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York said last week that the federal government should assign immigrants to live in cities such as Detroit and “if they survive seven years” make them citizens.

“All the federal government’s got to do is say, ‘We’re gonna welcome here in this country–first come, first served–families, if they’re willing to come here under the following terms,: Bloomberg said in Boston on Aug. 14. “We’re going to assign you a city–let’s say Detroit–you got to agree to not be arrested and not take any federal, state or city money, and you’ve got to live there for seven years, and if you survive seven years, we’ll make you and your family full citizens.”

Bloomberg was speaking along with News Corporation Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch at a forum sponsored by the New England Council. (more…)

Believe it or not there actually was a time when President Obama said we as a nation, needed to reform Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, and he actually advocated for the very reform which is included in the Paul Ryan plan.  

Alas, the personal goal of re-election has taken over doing the hard but necessary thing; and now the rhetoric of “class warfare” has once again to take center stage for this election cycle with Obama proclaiming the richest Americans are not paying their fair share.

Much has been written about how disingenuous it is to advocate such propositions when the truth of taxation and spending falls far away from the position of the president. Yet, even without a single day in office with any federal budget he will proclaim his fiscal credentials and espouse his opinion of being a fiscally responsible executive to the worlds largest economy.

We have shared extensively about the Obama financial hypocrisy, and perhaps it is a solid reference for others to re-familarize yourself and refer his advocates to a prior speech filled with similar tones and promises in June of 2010. 

Listen to President Obama discuss the structural deficit, the economy and his opinion on resolution, there are some very informative, and in hindsight, highly hypocritical considerations which given the events over the past two to three years should be called into contrast. (more…)

I do not support negative action toward anyone for expressing opinion or engaging in a cause they feel ideologically aligned to.   However, if you are a company officer, well, in that case engagement has consequences (depending on the company).

First The White House, well, more specifically President Obama uses an executive order, intentionally non-reported by the media, to give the DHS full control over all privately owned communication networks nationally.  Cell phone, internet, and land based telecommunications.

Then the White House authorizes, (again by non-media reported executive order) the regime enforcement branch (DHS) to use military spy drones for use in all areas of ‘national importance’ to enforce “citizen safety“.

Following, and in preparation for, the regime enforcement branch (DHS) orders 450 million, yes million, hollowpoint bullets.     While ammunition itself seems not too unreasonable of a request by a major federal entity that emphasizes domestic durability and safeguarding the country from coast to coast, the choice — and quantity — of its hollow point order raises a lot of questions about future plans for the DHS.

ATK says they won their contract with the US government by being able to provide them with 450 million HST bullets, which it describes as “the next generation in high performance duty ammunition.”

What does that mean, exactly? On their website, the contractor claims that the ammunition is specifically designed so that it can pass through a variety of obstructions and offers “optimum penetration for terminal performance.” Or, in other words, this is the kind of bullet designed to stop any object dead in its tracks and, if emptied into the hands of the DHS a few hundred million times, just might do as much.

The regime then quietly (february) demands a control enforcement mechanism nullifying the 2nd Amendment in any proximity to a federal government official.  –  The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R. 347  (Feb) a bill which is being dubbed the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011.
