I’m thinking something could be learned from them.    Egypt’s President Morsi evacuated from residence after freedom supporters stage mass protest and clash with security at compound.

(VIA BBC)  Police have fired tear gas in clashes with tens of thousands of protesters gathered near the presidential palace in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

Some of the protesters reportedly cut through barbed wire around the palace.  Crowds have been gathering to protest against what they say is the rushed drafting of a new constitution and the decision by President Mohammed Morsi to extend his powers.

Mr Morsi was in the palace but left as the crowds grew, sources there said. (more…)

(HuffPoo)  “Barack Obama is a socialist,” former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), claimed on Fox News Monday night, speaking about her concerns regarding the a fiscal cliff deal, growing American debt and a president who, she said, could even be leading the nation on a slow march toward communism.

Talking with Sean Hannity, Palin said that the opening offer Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner presented to Republicans last week to avert the fiscal cliff was a dangerous proposition.

“A very scary proposal was recently revealed by Geithner essentially saying, ‘Let the president have free rein on raising the debt ceiling to whatever level he wants it.’ That’s a very scary thought,” she said, pointing to Obama’s supposedly “socialist” views. (more…)

Calling the notion that the 21st century is the American century a “shared delusion,” Brzezinski stated that American domination was no longer possible because of an accelerating social change driven by “instant mass communications such as radio, television and the Internet,” which have been cumulatively stimulating “a universal awakening of mass political consciousness.”

“The President has said many times that the American people are demanding action,” White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer told The Huffington Post. “They want to see progress, not partisan delay games. A taker is someone who draws money from the government, as an employee, pensioner or welfare recipient. A maker is someone gainfully employed in the private sector.

Let us give those takers the benefit of our sympathy and assume that every single one of them is a deserving soul. This person is either genuinely needy or a dedicated public servant or the recipient of a well-earned pension.

But what happens when these needy types outnumber the providers? Taxes get too high. Prosperous citizens decamp. Employers decamp. That just makes matters worse for the taxpayers left behind. (more…)

Bear with me, this needs somewhat of a set up.    After watching President Obama get re-elected, despite the insufferably painful in-your-face and pocketbook policies that are economically destructive to a brutal point, it is painfully obvious there is much heavy lifting needed.

I have now fully digested all the Romney folks who give their excuses, the Cocktail Class Decepticons who give their insight, and the beltway Republicans -who still think Mitch McConnell is a reasonable face for the party. Seriously?  Talk about “moderation”, vis-a-vis acquiescence to the leftist progressive principles.

The progressive intolerant President Obama campaign was a cynical one, and using his own words “revenge,” based in large part on division amid the electorate; noting Millionaires/Billionaires are now couples making $250k or more, and freebies like birth control at the expense of religious liberty; with promises of more “stuff” like amnesty to illegal aliens, bailouts for unsustainable union contracts and bigger government like the takeover of student finances, to “spread the wealth;”  and if you didn’t like it, well, you were a racist.   People fell for it.

Essentially, the final insight I personally was waiting to understand, was to see who the new face of the RGA would be, and who they would put forth as the messenger for the party headed to 2014/2016.   Bobby Jindal, was selected and now he provides the roadmap to how Republicans are going to approach the electorate moving forward: (more…)

CBS hid the fact that Dear Leader denied Terrorists attacked the compound in Benghazi….  The media hid the fact that our nation was dropped from the Global Prosperity rankings.….  The Administration also hid the fact that a U.S. Drone came under attack from Iran before the election…..   So hush, hush, nudge, nudge, wink, wink….  Better keep this a secret too.  Mmmkay?

The election is over, and now the economic future can be predicted with increased certainty;  Hence, decisions can be made.  So yesterday…… Energizer laying off 1,500 employees now.  Boeing announcing massive defense sector layoffs.   Pepsi Co announces it is laying off 4,000 employees ASAP.

I write this not as a partisan, but as one American who has been engaged in extensive political research for five solid years.   The picture in our current banner is reflective of my feeling right now:  Hands outstretched toward the heavens asking “why”?   Not why did Mitt Romney lose, but why cannot our citizenry see what they just did?

By now most of you know my approach at understanding events, and their surrounding outcomes.  Events that create both intended, and unintended consequences.

That approach is research; pure research to understand the specifics of the circumstances and understand the mindset behind the people within the events being portrayed.

The “why” is more valuable than the “what”.

So I hope you will digest this analysis with the understanding this is not a series of guesses, projections, or predictions.   This is merely assembling the puzzle bits – organizing them, placing them into their logical pattern of connectivity – then standing back and looking at what is factually evident within the assembly.
