This is looking like a great trip for Romney also….
GDANSK, Poland — Lech Walesa, the Nobel Prize winner and former Polish president, effectively endorsed Mitt Romney for president here Monday.
“I wish you to be successful because this success is needed to the United States, of course, but to Europe and the rest of the world, too. Governor Romney, get your success, be successful!” Walesa said through a translator following their joint meeting in Gdansk. He hit his handon the table for emphasis.
The favorable comments came as Romney began a visit to Poland at the end of an overseas trip that included stops in London and Jerusalem. Romney’s schedule on Monday also includes meetings with Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk. (more…)
You wouldn’t know it from the Lame Stream Legacy Media but Mitt Romney was a HUGE hit in Israel this week. His speeches were to rousing standing ovations, massive crowds and an incredible amount of support and appreciation. Israelis are optimistic and hopeful the cloud of President Obama’s pro-Israel deceptions are soon to be removed.
So right on cue the Democrat leadership spearheaded by Nancy Pelosi, and the water-carrying media -using soon to be defunct Newsweek- join with Robert Gibbs and David Alexrod to begin an all out assault on Mitt Romney. The alinsky tactics are entirely too predictable anymore.
ISRAEL – Mitt Romney on Sunday declared Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel and said he would seek to move the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv as president if the Israeli government ascents.
“A nation has the capacity to choose its own capital city, and Jerusalem is Israel’s capital,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee said in an interview on CNN, conducted in Jerusalem. “I think it’s long been the policy to ultimately have our embassy in the nation’s capital of Jerusalem.”
Romney gave several televised interviews and delivered a speech in Jerusalem during a trip to Israel aimed at emphasizing his ties to the close U.S. ally and boosting his support among Jewish Americans and supporters of Israel. (more…)
Talk about a potential disaster…. Given all the recent revelations about Pam Bondi’s sheer lack of integrity, insufferable manipulation and self-serving political stupidity, I guess nothing should surprise anyone anymore. But this is ridiculous… Even the possibility being put ‘out there’ is reason enough to question the judgment of the Romney campaign. Sheeeesh….
(via Business Insider) As Mitt Romney draws closer to a decision about his 2012 running mate, speculation about who the Republican presidential candidate will select to be his No. 2 has reached a fever pitch.
Romney is expected to make the announcement sometime after he returns from overseas next week. In the meantime, his campaign has launched a major surrogate blitz, dispatching seven of the most buzzed-about VP contenders to rally Romney supporters in swing states.
But this afternoon, the campaign added a surprise name to the list: Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. (more…)

Today Pantsuits Clinton was pelted with tomatoes as she and her security/military escort were driving through Cairo, Egypt. The Legacy Media lies about the intention of the protesters to protect the President Obama Regime. Not on our watch. Let us set the record straight in defense of honesty, intellectual honesty, and Freedom principles.

Hillary was part of, and facilitator for, President Obama’s overriding desire to eliminate the Beacon of Freedom and American influence abroad. President Obama sat on his hands and watched the slaughter of The Green Party in Iraq (Feb 2010) because his ideological make-up is, as it has always been, for governmental control over the lives of people. President Obama and his Prog-policies are antithetical to freedom principles.
So in February 2011 when the Arab spring spread from Tunisia to Egypt, it was President Obama and his cohorts against freedom aka: Cass Sunstein, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett and Pantsuits Hillary, who specifically and intentionally sat on their hands to empower the anti-freedom sharia extremists to take up positioning to corrupt the cries for Freedom – It worked. If these reports are true Mitt Romney has just pulled out a double barreled shotgun and shot himself in both feet simultaneously.

The Romney campaign has not invited former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to speak at the Republican convention in Tampa. The Romney folks have not even invited her to attend the party’s premier event. It’s no secret that Sarah Palin does not TRUST Mitt Romney to hold steadfast to constitutional small governmental principles, no-one does. It is the same reason why Mittens became the ‘Anyone But Obama’ candidate by default after failing to get more than 40% support from self-identified Conservative Republicans during the primary season.
If Romney disparages someone who holds the trust of the constitutional majority, well, he’s toast.
WASHINGTON DC – On the day that Mitt Romney formally announced his run for the presidency last year, he found himself competing with a stiff New Hampshire wind, which stood his hair on end and played havoc with his microphones. What blew in later was even more distracting: the red, white, and blue bus bearing Sarah Palin on her “One Nation” tour. Palin stole the headlines, and Romney’s buzz, that day (“Coincidence,” she said), and beyond. Through much of the summer, she hovered at the edge of the Republican primary campaign as a shadow candidate, once predicting that she could not only beat Romney, but President Obama, too, before finally declaring herself out of the race last fall… (more…)
We have pointed out for a while how similar the United States circa 2012 is to the considerations of the Polish people circa 1983. Decision Time.
Two brave men memorialized in history yesterday with a new statue symbolizing freedom.
The Herald Sun reported: POLISH officials have unveiled a statue of former President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II, honouring two men widely credited in this Eastern European country with helping to topple communism 23 years ago.
The statue was unveiled in Gdansk, the birthplace of Lech Walesa’s Solidarity movement, in the presence of about 120 former Solidarity activists, many of whom were imprisoned in the 1980s for their roles in organising or taking part in strikes against the communist regime.
The bronze statue, erected in the lush seaside President Ronald Reagan Park, is a slightly larger-than-life rendering of the two late leaders.
It was inspired by an Associated Press photograph taken in 1987 on John Paul’s second pontifical visit to the US. (more…)
(The Hill) — President Obama’s reelection campaign is making a determined and carefully calibrated effort to boost enthusiasm among black voters, a group that could swing the election in key battleground states.

Polls have Obama winning more than 90 percent of the black vote against Mitt Romney, but there are signs that the high African-American turnout that fueled his 2008 victories in North Carolina and Virginia could dissipate after the hard realities of the president’s first term.
The chances for depressed turnout are increased by the bad economy, which at its worst drove the unemployment rate for blacks above 16 percent and led to some disillusionment with the candidate of “hope and change.” (more…)
