Wisconsin – Democrats and The Media Framing Lowered Expectations

Facing recent polling that indicates Governor Scott Walker is in relatively good shape in the Wisconsin Recall Campaign, the progs are reframing the narrative.

The blame game has been going on for about a week with Wisconsin recall folks complaining about a lack of support from the Democrat National Committee, President Obama, and national democrats.   In addition, state officials from labor unions like the AFL-CIO and AFSCME are complaining about weak national support for their efforts.
This week the media began to frame the narrative to position and protect Democrats in the 2012 campaign. Initially the Wisconsin Recall Effort was heralded by the media as an example and predictor for Progressive gains in retaliation against fiscal conservative efforts by Republican Governors and Legislatures. In addition, they sold the Wisconsin race as a bellweather for President Obama’s victory in November. (more…)

Back In Jail – George Zimmerman Back In Jail – Judge Lester "Might" Consider Bail At Future Date….

Mark O’Mara is hopeful Judge Lester will grant a motion for another bond hearing at a later date.  However, and increasing possibility now exists that Zimmerman could remain in custody until his trial next year.
Initial reports from the media reflect a significant diminishment in support for George Zimmerman
( We are conducting a TreeHouse Poll below article)

MIAMI Associated Press — George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer charged with murder in the killing of Trayvon Martin, surrendered to police Sunday and was booked into jail after having his bail revoked two days earlier.

Zimmerman’s legal team said in a tweet that he was in police custody. Zimmerman’s bail was revoked because the judge said he and his wife lied to the court about their finances so he could obtain a lower bond.
On Sunday afternoon, about 40 minutes before the 2:30 p.m. deadline to surrender, Zimmerman was listed as an inmate on the jail website. He was listed as being held without bail and having $500 in his jail account.

Seminole County Sheriff Donald Eslinger said Zimmerman turned himself in to two sheriff’s office employees around 1:25 p.m. near the jail, and was then driven to the jail. Zimmerman arrived in a white minivan and did not respond to questions from reporters as he walked inside, handcuffed and wearing blue jeans, sneakers and a button-down shirt. (more…)

Stormclouds and War Drums

Prepare yourself.  The fight against the Left-Wing Orcs is gonna get ugly.  Real Ugly.  The first battle is Wisconsin.

(WSJ) — Public-employee unions in Wisconsin have experienced a dramatic drop in membership — by more than half for the second-biggest union — since a law championed by Republican Gov. Scott Walker sharply curtailed their ability to bargain over wages and working conditions.
Now with Mr. Walker facing a recall vote Tuesday, voters will decide whether his policies in the centrist state should continue — or whether they have gone too far.  The election could mark a pivot point for organized labor.  (more)

JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, May 31, 2012 — Five months ahead of the presidential election, the Democratic Party is already losing seats to Republicans, as a growing number of elected officials are changing parties over issues like the right to life, the definition of marriage, and the Obama administration’s mandate that religious institutions cover abortion-inducing drugs in their health care plans.
Wednesday afternoon, seven local office-holders from three Mississippi counties announced they had voted with their feet.
Each official had different reasons, but Leake County Sheriff Greg Waggoner “specifically said when [Obama] came out in favor of gay ‘marriage,’ that was the last straw,” Brett Kittredge, communications director of the Mississippi Republican Party, told LifeSiteNews.com.
“I’m a Christian, and my first allegiance is to Jesus Christ,” Sheriff Waggoner said. “God established marriage, and He established it between a man and a woman. Those are my beliefs. The Republican Party reflects my beliefs.” (more…)

Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice Talk Unilateral Action In Syria Without UN Security Council Approvals

Has anyone seen or heard anything from Samantha Power?    This new direction being considered is so far beyond hypocritical, the light from where hypocritical starts would never even catch them.
Just think, it was not long ago when Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Senator Obama, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer, et al were foaming at the mouth and seething toward George Bush for contemplating unilateral military action with out UN support.   Those aforementioned progs were demanding UN authorization before Bush could take military action.   Yet, in typical leftist prog fashion, they are now discussing the exact same thing.
And that does not even begin to consider the stupidity surrounding the very “rebels” they are trying to help being specifically known as al-Qaeda operatives implanted into the Syrian resistance.

SYRIA – Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, bluntly criticised Russia’s continued backing for President Bashar al-Assad’s regime yesterday. This support was illustrated last night by the disclosure that a Russian cargo ship carrying weapons had docked in Syria last Saturday, one day after the massacre in Houla which claimed at least 108 civilian lives. Professional Race-Baiting Class Hardest Hit….  Now only 47% of Blacks think George Zimmerman Guilty, and 40% of Blacks think George Zimmerman acted in self defense, a remarkable turnaround.

Perhaps the opportunistic financial exploitation will also hit a roadblock.

RASMUSSEN – A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 24% of American Adults still believe the man who shot Martin should be found guilty of murder. But that’s down from 33% in late March when the case first began to draw national headlines and 30% in early April. (more…)

Kansas City Star Report – Sybrina Fulton, TrayMom™,  who has worked at the Miami-Dade County housing authority for 23 years, collected $40,825 worth of donated vacation time, county records show. The paid time off is in addition to the nearly $100,000 the family raised on wepay.com and at rallies, which will be used to launch a criminal justice advocacy foundation in Trayvon’s name.
The donated days are the latest in a mounting fortune in contributions that have amassed on both sides of the controversial case. With websites dedicated to the grieving parents of Trayvon Martin as well as for the man who killed him, and now even his attorney, funds gathered in the wake of the Feb. 26 tragedy promise to reach half a million dollars.   Donors continue to reach into their pockets, even as each side criticizes the other’s purpose and intent in seeking donations.
