(CBS News) — Vice President Joe Biden said Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” gun laws will be a topic of debate in light of the controversy surrounding the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
“It’s important that people be put in a position where their Second Amendment rights are protected, but that they also don’t, as a consequence of the laws, unintendedly put themselves in harm’s way,” Biden told anchor Bob Schieffer in an interview to air on “Face the Nation” on Sunday. (more…)

This is insufferably upsetting… I previously shared the story of Carter Strange HERE.
Now it appears his attackers will NOT be charged with “Hate Crimes”, even though I cannot find a distinction in such brutality being defined as “hate”, but I guess I must digress… ugh, ugh, ugh... (WisTV – SC)COLUMBIA, – Prosecutors say the brutal beating of a teenager last week in Columbia’s Five Points doesn’t appear to have been racially motivated, but the U.S. attorney is still reviewing the case.
Fifth Circuit Solicitor Dan Johnson, who will prosecute the eight people charged with attacking 18-year-old Carter Strange on June 20 before leaving him for dead, said no evidence suggests the beating was racially motivated other than the race of the people involved. Maybe it’s because Barack H Obama grew up around radicals. Or maybe it’s because graduate student Baracka Obama chose the path of community organizing. Or maybe it’s because, as some have claimed, President Obama is an ego driven short-sighted narcissistic personality. Who knows.
But one thing is unfortunately certain, by choosing to wade into the controversy of black teenager Trayvon Mitchell vs. hispanic neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman, President Obama might just have naively lit the fuse on another Reginald Denny moment. (more…)
Breitbart.com has released the first Obama College video. In the video, available here, then student Obama is advocating for Derrick Bell, a noted racial activist. The video at the Breitbart site was intentionally hidden during the 2008 campaign by another Obama advocate Professor Charles Ogletree, fearful of its radical and social underpinnings. Derrick Bell was a former professor at Harvard University and is seen in this video (below) delivering remarks on race at a Harvard book fair in 2002. Bell describes what he believes as “permanent embedded racism” in the United States that can never be removed.
Mr. Bell is obviously entrenched with his racial views. But what is apparently ridiculous for all of this well-educated intelligence is his constitutional incapacity to consider ideology over the color of skin.

(Breitbart) — Earlier today, Buzzfeed’s Ben Smith announced on Twitter that video researcher Andrew Kaczynski had released “the mysterious Harvard/Obama/race video that the Breitbart folks have been talking about.”
The video, which Kaczynski says was “licensed from a Boston television station,” shows a young Barack Obama leading a protest at Harvard Law School on behalf of Prof. Derrick Bell, a radical academic tied to Jeremiah Wright–about whom we will be releasing significant information in the coming hours.
However, the video has been selectively edited–either by the Boston television station or by Buzzfeed itself. Over the course of the day, Breitbart.com will be releasing additional footage that has been hidden by Obama’s allies in the mainstream media and academia.

We took a drive through the country today, loosely following some of the path of the April 27th tornado, ending our rambling path in downtown Ringgold. One country church featured a sign I felt was a kind of summary, perhaps an appropriate testimony of the feeling around here. “In God we still trust.” A few miles further down the road, closer in to town, a simple red brick Baptist church featured another sign stating “Under the same management for 2000 years.” (more…)

So even though we will continue the comprehensive discovery we are also going to add a new daily section to our blog. Each day we will highlight a discrepancy. Just one. Each day. Are they lies? Manipulations? False narratives? You decide. The objective is just to show the disconnected narrative, not to try to figure out how it got into place or why it is there. We will point out one specific question, narrative, or discrepancy every day. Feel free to engage your progressive friends in trying to explain why they exist.
