In all fairness it’s a lose/lose. If he didn’t go peeps, would be saying he was detached, when he does go, people will say he’s an opportunist. That said, he is an opportunist.

WASHINGTON (AP/CBS4) — The White House says President Barack Obama will tour the scene of devastating wildfires in Colorado on Friday, and thank firefighters battling some of the worst fires to hit the American West in decades.
Obama called Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper on Wednesday, along with the mayor of Colorado Springs, where a raging wildfire destroyed dozens of houses and charred land on the edges of the U.S. Air Force Academy. (more…)
Millions of Americans and the Brian Terry family beg to differ….. Insufferable. This is the exact same mindset that stated the “people” did not care about the “process” in manipulating Obamacare into law by any means possible.
Rules matter, jerk. We are a nation of Laws – NOT OF MEN !
WASHINGTON – President Obama’s spokesman urged House Republicans on Wednesday to cancel a planned vote to hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in contempt of Congress, saying most Americans don’t care about the separation-of-powers struggle.
“We hope Republicans change their minds as to what the right course of action is,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney, adding that lawmakers should be focused instead on boosting the economy. “I cannot imagine this will sit well with most Americans.”
But Mr. Carney said the White House was under no illusions about the Republicans’ plans, and administration officials expect the House vote against Mr. Holder to proceed. (more…)
It really doesn’t matter what aspect of progdom you are looking at, the inherent failure, nay – constitutional inability, to recognize the obvious, is the commonality in all things progressive. Really, I’m not kidding; nor am I being snarky or curt, it’s just factually true.

Prog companies spend hundreds of thousands, if not millions, on marketing analysis and various consultants to help them understand what is occurring within their business model because they operate from a detached reality view toward their customer.
Prog companies believe that all their customers are also progs. It is just how they view the world. It’s weird.
But when stuff does not make sense to them, or their business model weakens or begins to fail, they pay a lot of money because they have to exit their comfort circle for advice or they will fail. It’s true, and I can give you countless first hand experiences. If progressively run companies maintain only advice from like-minded progs when they are suffering, they will fail. 100% of the time. Guaranteed.
It is what’s happening to Facebook right now. They are still stuck in the prog circle aka doomsday-predictive, circling, echo-chamber of progdom. But this post is not about Facebook. This post is about a brick and mortar company. And what you are about to read, free of charge mind you, is an example of everything above. (more…)
There is a growing reality coming to the surface. However, the cultural marxists, those with white guilt and the PC crowd, will not discuss it openly in the sunlight.

The opponents to self defense laws, gun ownership rights, Stand Your Ground laws and issues surrounding the individual(s) responsibility to protect themselves, are more visibly concerned about self defense empowerment creating the inability for blacks to be more efficient or productive in their attacks against non-blacks.
That is really what Natalie Jackson is saying here. If you defend George Zimmerman you are allowing non-blacks to defend themselves from black thugs. Guns in the hands of non-blacks allow those who would be victims to defend themselves and that cannot be allowed.
Following the Jackson logic: Non-blacks should just remain securely in their homes. Should they need to travel, they should drive with the windows up and doors locked while passing through the safari to avoid danger. The same mindset in The Virginia Pilot beatings – If you stop at an intersection to obey traffic laws, and if your car is attacked with bricks, stay inside keep the doors locked and drive away quickly.
To quote the Colorado Mayor Michael Hancock just last night:
“We will not surrender this city to anyone,”

The role of the Executive Branch is to “ENFORCE” existing laws. ENFORCE THEM not determine which should be enforced and which should not based on political ideology. Constitutionally, President Obama cannot just pick and choose which laws to carry out because he personally doesn’t like them.
The fundamental aspects of Arizona’s SB1070 immigration bill were upheld in a Supreme Court Decision today, delivering another substantial blow to the White House and President Obama.
But what President Obama did in response to his defeat today is once again reflective of how petulent and childish this community organizer is. How this man-child ever made it to hold the office of chief executive is beyond my comprehension.
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer celebrated the Supreme Court’s ruling Monday on her state’s tough immigration law, calling the court’s decision a “victory for the rule of law.” (more…)
There is more than a respectable chance that Debbie the hyphenated might also lose her next election. We can only hope….
WASHINGTON – When Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida was tapped last year to lead the Democratic National Committee, it seemed like the latest ascension for a fast-rising star destined for even higher positions. Some stumbles and an apparent falling out of favor with the White House had changed that calculus. Now it looks like it could be changing again.

Talk is that Wasserman Schultz will not be asked to serve another term at the DNC, regardless of whether she helps President Obama win a second term. Yet the native New Yorker could use that to her advantage, as she reportedly now has her eye on a House leadership post — perhaps even the highest. (more…)
EGYPT – After days of delay for the results of its presidential runoff, Egypt has announced Mohammed Morsi as the winner of the election and the country’s new president, the Associated Press reports.

Morsi, the candidate from the Muslim Brotherhood, faced off with former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq after the two candidates collected the most votes in the first round of Egypt’s presidential election. (more…)

UPDATE: Obviously the White House is freaking out that people have found out. At 9:30pm The White House Officially Responds DAMAGE CONTROL
UPDATE 6/22 9:30 p.m.: According to Fox News, the White House has issued a statement rebuking some of the behavior described in this article:
“While the White House does not control the conduct of guests at receptions, we certainly expect that all attendees conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Most all do. These individuals clearly did not. Behavior like this doesn’t belong anywhere, least of all in the White House.”
Following on the heels of White House Security Leaks we shared a few pictures to reflect the lack of professional respect for the office and the absurd way President Obama reflects upon the nation’s security. See Here.
In this weeks episode we reflect upon President Obama’s recent invitation to his latest ideological constituency granted the full measure of presidential pandering.
President Obama held an “East Room” reception on June 16 marking LGBT Pride Month. President Barack Obama told attendees that he would be their “fellow advocate,” saying he and first lady Michele Obama “have made up our minds” on marriage equality.
The LGBT invited Obama-Friends reflected the essence of their pride and patriotism in the White House, The People’s House, by showcasing the following picture.

Re-posted for recoverydotgod but perhaps many people will also benefit from revisiting.
RE-POST: Perhaps this update is best contrasted against the concept of “Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon“. The associations highlighted explain how Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s dad, was put into contact with Benjamin Crump, the proverbial head of the “scheme team”, and along the way the cast of characters is quite interesting.
As well as one seeking political office in Miami-Dade.

Mr. Trayvon Martin was not the only person creating a well, shall we say, “colorful“, on-line and in-real-life social style. Indeed, the new age social media platform(s), in all their unintended varieties, provide an odd connectivity to even the most embarrassingly public of profiles. Especially when running for political office 😉
Here is an odd story of association that stems from within this Reuters article: (more…)
