King Abdullah of Jordan is part of the mid-east freedom alliance with President Fattah Abdel el-Sisi of Egypt. Due to President Obama’s extremist politics, Abdullah and Sisi formed a working security and economic relationship with Vladimir Putin.
Prior to taking the oath of office President Trump spoke personally to President el-Sisi and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Since the inauguration – The geo-strategic evolution continues -> President Vladimir Putin (Russia), President Fattah el-Sisi (Egypt) and King Salman (Saudi Arabia) have all held diplomatic and strategic discussions with President Trump.
Now today:

[From the Office of the Vice President] The Vice President hosted His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan for a working breakfast at the Vice President’s Residence at the Naval Observatory this morning.

At the Pentagon Today, January 27th 2017, Vice President Mike Pence swore in Secretary of Defense James Mattis, followed by President Donald Trump signing executive actions concerning the military and immigration:
.
Rob O’Neil (the man who killed OBL) said of Mattis:
“General Mattis has a bear rug in his home, but it is not dead. It’s just afraid to move”.
The Senate has just voted to confirm Representative Mike Pompeo as CIA Director. This represents the third intelligence and security nomination confirmed – General Kelly (DHS) and General Mattis (DoD) receiving earlier confirmations.

WASHINGTON – The Senate has confirmed Rep. Mike Pompeo, a Kansas Republican, to be President Donald Trump’s CIA director. The vote tally is 66-32, with a significant number of Democrats voting no. Two senators are delayed by weather. (link)
Two republican senators Tom Cotton (Yes) and Rand Paul (No) outline the dynamic within the overall DC intelligence outlook from the GOP. Neither are 100% correct; each distinct outlook has both merit and concern.
In the space between the two Senators, we can identify the fundamental position of President Trump toward this nomination. The “deep state” is dangerous, even when it is necessary; however, liberty must not be sacrificed upon the alter of security.

There were many interesting moments in the various senate confirmation hearings this past week. One of the better exchanges comes from Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson and Senator Marco Rubio.
At 06:10 (prompted below), interventionist advocate Senator Rubio challenges T-Rex to label Saudi Arabia as a “human rights violator“, and is seemingly irked by Tillerson’s reluctance to engage in labeling. Eventually this leads to Tillerson’s eloquent and articulate adult dispatch of little Marco. Great Watch:
.
Both Republican and Democrat Senators are being introduced to an administration which recognizes there are various cultures all over the world who hold different values than the U.S. It has been this way for millennia.
Interventionists like Rubio appear unhappy the incoming administration is unwilling to use brute force to influence and/or demand change.

A distinctly different reaction today as Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson exits Trump Tower and speaks to reporters.
Ms. Hewson’s first meeting with Mr. Trump was last month in Florida, and she emerged from that meeting without speaking to reporters. President-elect Trump later said they appeared to be engaging in “a little bit of a dance.”

Mr. Trump had publicly called out Lockheed Martin, saying the F-35 was over budget and behind schedule and directly stated his opinion the contract should be cancelled while asking Boeing to update its F-18 jet instead.

Interesting interview. It would appear she is not on Senator Rubio’s Christmas Card list…
Not all Democrats vote for Moonbats, but all Moonbats vote for Democrats.
Epic General James “Mad Dog” Mattis moment during Defense Secretary confirmation hearing:
Senator Gillibrand: “Do you believe that allowing LGBT Americans to serve in the military or women in combat is undermining our lethality?”
General Mattis: “Frankly, senator, I’ve never cared much about two consenting adults and who they go to bed with.”
