This is a really great interview. Beyond the substance is something really remarkable that has been missing from GOP politics for a long time; the inherent camaraderie between a Vice-president and President.
It is simply impossible to fake optimism this sincere, and VPE Pence discusses both the substance and the larger optimistic outlook.
Yes, it’s the human fish tank. Go ahead, try NOT to watch it.
But be careful. You’ll never know what you missed, unless you watch… But then you’ll know what you wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t watched.
Remember when candidate Donald Trump said:
…”and we will win, and you will win, and we will keep on winning, and eventually you will say we can’t take all of this winning, …please Mr. Trump …and I will say, NO, we will win, and we will keep on winning”…
Remember that? Good. Now ask yourself: “have I lost yet”?…

WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump has selected Representative Tom Price, a six-term Republican congressman from Georgia who has led opposition to the Affordable Care Act, to be secretary of health and human services, according to a transition team official.
Mr. Price, an orthopedic surgeon, has been a severe critic of the health law, saying it interferes with the ability of patients and doctors to make medical decisions.
And he says that events have borne out his warnings. “Premiums have gone up, not down,” Mr. Price said recently. “Many Americans lost the health coverage they were told time and time again by the president that they could keep. Choices are fewer.”

A very interesting and insightful interview with King Abdullah II of Jordan. The discussion includes perspectives on the incoming Donald Trump presidency, the Syrian and Mid-East conflict and the larger issues of radical Islamic extremism.

The last retired General to run the Department of Defense was George C Marshall in 1950-1951, and he was only brought in for one very specific year. Thereafter the DoD has been headed by various business and political officials, with a smattering of institutionally academic military leaders.
We have previously presented the outline of black hats and white hats within the various domestic law enforcement and national security discussions. However, seemingly invisible to all but those who are paying very close attention, is the dawning of a new security era focused on civic defense and national restoration.

This is still just, well, too funny. The media are carrying a live-feed pool video of the Trump Tower lobby again as the interest on the comings and goings continues. There are dozens of reporters staged in the lobby and the pool camera is focused on the elevators.

Tonight Vice-President-Elect Governor Mike Pence took his wife to a performance of Hamilton on Broadway. The cast took the opportunity to call out and target Governor Pence and his wife Karen. They later bragged about it on twitter.
