North Carolina Poll – Donald Trump Extends Lead With 31%, Fiorina and Bush Collapse to 6%…

The latest PPP Poll from North Carolina shows Donald Trump extending his lead in the state.  Ben Carson comes in second with 23% and Carly Fiorina has collapsed from last month landing at 6%, with less than half her previous favorability and double the unfavorability.  Candidate Jeb Bush also takes a severe step backwards.

We would be remiss, however, if we did not note something rather bizarre happening today.  We knew the poll was going to be available because of an earlier press release on October 24th from PPP Polling announcing they were conducting it.  However, all day, if you tried to find the poll itself, the ppp website was unavailable until 4:20pm.   (PPP tweeted results at 10:00am, and the PPP website operates on the “Cloud”)

Accepting the reality that very large and powerful interests are pulling out all the stops to try and diminish the insurgent frontrunner, Donald Trump, and given our prior research which shows their manipulative media intent therein, it would appear that all efforts are being exhausted to block the general public from seeing positive Trump polling data. Iowa Poll – Ben Carson Takes Commanding Lead 32%…

New Poll of Iowa Caucus-goers from Monmouth University (full pdf below).  This Iowa polling provides the media fuel to continue pulling down frontrunner Donald Trump.  Similar to Op-Hummingbird, with only a few days before the next debate – the media narrative will be to weaken/remove Trump’s support and create a self fulfilling prophecy.

The anti-Trump media/clinton alignment want Donald Trump to present as angry and carrying a bruised ego in all appearances. This helps their definitions of him…

West Long Branch, NJ – The Monmouth University Poll of likely Iowa Republican caucusgoers finds Ben Carson has taken a double digit lead over Donald Trump. The outsider candidates remain on top amid a prevailing attitude that the national Republican Party has not served its voters well.

When Iowa Republicans are asked who they would support in their local caucus, Ben Carson (32%) tops the list, with Donald Trump (18%) holding second. (more…)

CBS Poll South Carolina – Trump Leads With 40%, Carson Next at 23%…

CBS Battleground state poll (full pdf below) of South Carolina. Interestingly, the CBS poll data was a joint effort with YouGov polling; and you might note how every MSM outlet had previously dismissed YouGov polling as unreliable. Well, that was when it was necessary to dispute the evidenced support for Mr. Trump. Yeah, funny that….

In order to boost Carly Fiorina CNBC has given her a prime stage placement ahead of Jeb Bush for the upcoming debate.  While the move was transparently predictable in media intent, it’s doubtful anything can rescue her campaign.   Everyone has caught on that Carly is a big fibber and has a Brian Williams problem.

Jeb Bush was campaigning in South Carolina yesterday when he angrily stomped his feet because everyone was expecting him to work for a nomination.  Sad little man. (more…)

Pearl Clutching Jeb Bush Declares This Campaigning Stuff Is Just Too Hard “I’ve Got Better Things I Could Be Doing”…

In a rather typical presentation of pouty-faced Jeb Bush today he declared this competition thing is just too much, too much.  In essence saying he didn’t get into this race because he was actually expected to do any work or anything.  Look, if you’re not just going to hand it to me, well, to heck with all y’all – go on and elect Trump.

(Via New York Times) A day after his campaign slashed staff and salaries to retrench ahead of the Iowa caucuses, Jeb Bush decried the toxic tone of the presidential race and suggesting that “demonizing” people isn’t what he signed up for in this campaign.

Mr. Bush made the remarks at a town hall in South Carolina, where, according to a report by CNN, he seemed fired up about taking on the person who has overshadowed him during the campaign, Donald J. Trump, who is leading most Republican polls so far.

“If this election is about how we’re going to fight to get nothing done, I don’t want any part of it. I don’t want to be elected president to sit around and see gridlock just become so dominant that people literally are in decline in their lives. That is not my motivation. (more…)

Whaaambulance Alert – Republican Leadership Claim Not Enough Votes To Raise Debt Ceiling…

{Insert Winnie The Pooh voice}:

Oh bother“…

Here we go again.  Prepare for yet another round of “sky falling”, “end of the world”, “doomsday scenarios” etc.   Yes Alice, if the GOPe can’t raise the debt ceiling, again, it could mean, *gasp*, another federal shutdown.   OMG !!  Quick run !!

Here we go again.  Federal park closings, barriers on the mall stopping travelers from looking at things, road blocks to stop you from looking at Mount Rushmore; yes these were the previous maneuvers by President Stompy Feet to insure that Americans knew the government was “shut down”.

Because, in actuality, without the government actually spending money to force people to see it, no-one would actually notice.  Yes, Pooh Bear, here we go again:

WASHINGTON — Congressional Republicans say they are short of the votes for raising the debt limit and avoiding a first-ever government default. With barely a week before deadline, there’s no plan on what to do.

It’s a huge problem for House Speaker John Boehner and a potential nightmare for his successor-in-waiting, Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis. (more…)

A Confluence of Associated Political Interests….

Many patriotic vulgarians are unnecessarily concerned about recent predictable polling from the state of Iowa showing the vulgarian candidate Donald Trump being replaced as frontrunner by the soft-spoken Evangelical Ben Carson.

Toward those concerned voices we would simply proffer the following reminder:

Remove Donald Trump in 2015/16 and Ben Carson becomes Herman Cain, Ted Cruz becomes Newt Gingrich, and Jeb Bush positions comfortably as Mitt Romney circa 2012.

It really is that simple.

clinton bush

The entire construct of the RNC/GOPe political scheme has been, and continues to be, a Clinton VS Bush general election battle.  The only consideration amid the affluent puppeteers is who gets to play the role of Bush, either Jeb or Marco Rubio will do just fine.

Any reader can review the annals of CTH historical research to find out for themselves why we chose to engage in a rather lengthy and controversial, albeit factually and empirically sound, analysis of what’s been going on amid the political landscape for several election cycles. (more…)

Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s 2014 Loss – And The Origin of Paul Ryan as Speaker…

El RushboRush Limbaugh had an interesting segment on his radio show yesterday.  Mr. Limbaugh is beginning to connect the dots to the origin of the GOPe road map, constructed between October ’13 and April ’14, which we tried to bring attention to prior to the mid-term 2014 primary races.

Limbaugh’s overall analysis is solid, except he’s missing some of the substantive dot connections which stem around what he calls “a seminal event“, Cantor’s defeat.

[…] I think there was a seminal event in the House of Representatives that happened in 201[4] that blew up a lot of plans, and that was Eric Cantor losing.  That shocked everybody, as you recall.  Cantor was a member of the Republican leadership, and Cantor was moving the donor class agenda.  Cantor losing was a huge blow to the leadership’s ties to the donor class.  And as you and I well know, the donor class runs the Republican Party today, not the voters.

(Read the full analysis HERE)

The overall substance of what Limbaugh is saying is correct. However, he’s missing some critical aspects and misidentifying “the donor class“.

It is not the “donor class” per se’ as a random group of rich contributors running the Republican party today, it’s specifically Tom Donohue and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – or, put another way, Wall Street interests.
