Queen Elizabeth II Welcomes President Trump and First Lady Melania to Windsor Castle…

Earlier today Queen Elizabeth II welcomed President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump to Windsor Castle.  The British monarch, 92, greeted Mr and Mrs Trump in the quadrangle of the royal residence ahead of a private tea.
A Guard of Honour, formed of the Coldstream Guards, gave a Royal Salute and the US national anthem was played as the US visitors arrived for the engagement. Mr Trump is the 12th president to meet Her Majesty.

First Lady Melania Trump Bowls Over Britain….

First Lady Melania Trump bowled over Britain with joy as President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Theresa May held bilateral discussions.
Mrs Trump joined Philip May for a visit to the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London on Friday morning.  Melania was, well, ‘radiant’ as she joined Chelsea Pensioners and local schoolchildren for the game of lawn bowling, and ended her turn on the green with a high-five to a Chelsea Pensioner, much to his delight.

First Lady Melania Trump Visits Tucson and Phoenix Illegal Alien Detention Centers…

First Lady Melania Trump made a visit to Arizona today to visit two Customs and Border Patrol facilities. The first stop was Tucson and the second stop was Phoenix.
The first lady held a roundtable discussion with Border Patrol, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Marshals Service and a local rancher. ‘I want to thank you for all your hard work. I know how difficult and dangerous your daily jobs are,’ Melania Trump told agents. ‘I am here to support you and help any way I can.’
At the roundtable, Kevin McAleenan, Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, told the first lady 1,600 people – including 539 in families – tried to enter the United States illegally on Wednesday. Rodolfo Karisch, Chief Patrol Agent of the Tucson Sector Border Patrol said immigration enforcement has been characterized as ‘cruel and heartless, but that is not the case.’  (more)

First Lady Melania Trump Visits Texas Immigrant Holding Center…

First Lady Melania Trump took an unexpected visit to McAllen, Texas, today planning to visit two immigrant holding facilities where children are being housed following their illegal entry into the U.S.  The trip gave our first lady an opportunity to address officials in Texas.

“Thank you for all you do,” she told officials as she started the meeting. “Thank you so much for having me today. I’m glad I’m here and looking forward to meeting the children.” “I’d also like to ask you how I can help reunite these children with their families as quickly as possible,” she added.

First Lady Hospitalized – Melania Trump Underwent Kidney Surgery

First Lady Melania Trump underwent a kidney surgery at Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday, according to a statement released by The White House.

Statement from the White House:

This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications. Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere. (Link)
