CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle.

It detailed the president’s personal role in deciding which individuals will end up being targeted for assassination by the CIA based on Obama’s secret, unchecked decree that they are “terrorists” and deserve to die.

Based on interviews with “three dozen of his current and former advisers”, the Times’ Jo Becker and Scott Shane provided extraordinary detail about Obama’s actions, including how he “por[es] over terrorist suspects’ biographies on what one official calls the macabre ‘baseball cards'” and how he “insist[s] on approving every new name on an expanding ‘kill list'”. At a weekly White House meeting dubbed “Terror Tuesdays”, Obama then decides who will die without a whiff of due process, transparency or oversight. It was this process that resulted in the death of US citizen Anwar Awlaki in Yemen, and then two weeks later, the killing of his 16-year-old American son, Abdulrahman, by drone. (more…)

A “foreign Policy” debate scheduled for Monday,… in Boca Raton,…. amid the largest Jewish voter base in the Key “Swing State” of Florida,…. with the biggest ongoing policy issue being Iran threatening Israel with Nuclear Weapons,…. after Obama blew it with his non-support of the Iranian Freedom Movement (Green Party)

And all of a sudden,…. the Left-Wing New York Times is “leaking”,… on a Saturday,…..  In advance of the “Sunday Talk Shows”,……  That Iran and President Obama “might have” come to an agreement to stave off military action and defuse the situation….

All unbeknownst to Israel….

Yesterday I was listening intently to the grieving spouse of one of the victims recounting her anxiety about not being able to get ‘survivor benefits’ because the Fort Hood shooting was not labeled a “terror attack during wartime”;  instead President Obama and his administation made the decision to call it “workplace violence”.

Stella dropped a link to a Right Scoop article which outlines an aspect of the issues:

[…]  In fact at the moment I’m filled with anger after having heard the stories of those who survived, that Hasan is still alive 3 years after his ruthless massacre – but even more so that they are currently arguing in court whether he can keep his beard!

And then on top of that I’m reminded that this administration labeled this Islamic terrorist attack as “workplace violence” which means those who survived it are ineligible for the purple heart and the families of those who were killed do not get the same benefits of those who are killed in combat. (The Hill)  United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers around the county on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places. (more…)

You know the water cooler coversation at NBC is in meltdown angst over the pending defeat of their Dear Leader when you see unglued stuff like this on the airwaves.

One can easily imagine the internal ideological anxiety amid the production staff facing the abject defeat anticipated in the land of all things progressive….. But, this is ridiculous.

Americans Died – Obama Lied

WASHINGTON (AP) – The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.

It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was a result of the mobs that staged less-deadly protests across the Muslim world around the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the U.S. (more…)
