As expected Egypt begins to engage in Radical Islamic Approaches. Netanyahu’s response: You ain’t seen nothing yet…… JERUSALEM – A senior member of Gaza’s ruling Hamas movement on Sunday made a rare appeal to the Israeli public for a halt to the escalating cross-border fighting, telling an Israeli radio station in fluent Hebrew that Hamas is ready to stop its rocket fire if Israel ends its attacks on Gaza. As nightfall approached, Gaza militants had fired about 10 rockets and mortar shells at Israel, police said, but Israel had not hit back. (more…)
The outcome in Libya remains uncertain, but what seems clear beyond reasonable doubt is that military intervention has not saved the day for the shadowy opposition known as ‘the rebels’, and certainly not for the people of the country. It has seemingly plunged Libya into a protracted violent conflict with the domestic balance of forces tipping decisively in favor of the Quackdaffy regime despite a major military onslaught managed by the American-led coalition, which in recent days has been supposedly outsourced to NATO. (CBS/AP) – The United States may consider sending troops into Libya with a possible international ground force that could aid the rebels, according to the general who led the military mission until NATO took over. Army Gen. Carter Ham also told lawmakers Thursday that added American participation would not be ideal, and ground troops could erode the international coalition and make it more difficult to get Arab support for operations in Libya. (Ynet)– Former International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradei, who had previously announced his intetions to run for the presidency of Egypt, said Monday that “if Israel attacked Gaza we would declare war against the Zionist regime.” In an interview with the Al-Watan newspaper he said: “In case of any future Israeli attack on Gaza – as the next president of Egypt – I will open the Rafah border crossing and will consider different ways to implement the joint Arab defense agreement.” (more…)
For weeks we have been sharing the crisis in Libya specifically as it relates to “dubious” and “extremist” elements within the “rebel forces”. This includes the abundantly clear reporting that al-Qaeda forces in the North African region have used the opportunity to enter Libya and smuggle out weapons. Not just any weapons, but massive and dangerous weapons. Surface to Air Missles, Rockets, and Chemical weapons are now in the hands of al-Qaeda elements that have terroristic ideologies.
