Dinesh D’Souza is right;  the specific intended consequence from President Obama’s foreign policy strategy is to retract US authority, and diminish US strategic influence in the world.

When we retreat – we create a void, into that void comes the strongest influence.  The influence may, or may not align with our interests – those interests become the secondary consideration.

Unfortunately, as a specific consequence to this strategy we are shifted from ‘action’ to ‘reaction’ regarding events, perspectives, alliances and controls outside our border.  We become, quite simply, respondants to the demands put upon us by others.   This is what we are all witnessing right now…. The media loves to beat conservatives over the head with “gaffes” as they define them.   Consider this Obama statement about recent events in Egypt and Libya being “bumps in the road” against the backdrop of a sodomized murdered American Ambassador, his aid slaughtered and burned, and two former Navy Seals murdered while saving the lives of 20 consulate employees….. under the attack from rabid Islamists.  – Seriously –

“the question presumes that we somehow we could have stopped this wave of change”….

“Wave of Change”? WTF? Errr, no the question begs whether we could have stopped the 9-11 deaths of four Americans with diligence, better security, and intelligence warnings from the State Department. (more…)

State Department Philip Reines said that CNN had “completely ignored the wishes of the family” of Stevens by broadcasting the details contained within his journal before returning. Reines said that CNN “ultimately broke their pledge made to them only hours after they witnessed the return to the Unites States of Chris’s remains.”

Given the truth of how this was handled, CNN patting themselves on the back is disgusting.

What they’re not owning up to is reading and transcribing Chris’s diary well before bothering to tell the family or anyone else that they took it from the site of the attack. Or that when they finally did tell them, they completely ignored the wishes of the family, and ultimately broke their pledge made to them only hours after they witnessed the return to the Unites States of Chris’s remains. Yes, perhaps, just perhaps, the story will finally turn to the direction it should have been from day #1.   Kirsten Powers took a turn at pulling the media narrative back to where it should be.    (Video from RightScoop) On Fox News earlier today, she blasted the media for their lack of curiosity in this Benghazi story, saying they should be embarrassed that Univision was the first to ask the president about the security situation on 9/11.

Jake Tapper tried earlier in the week with Jay Carney – He got nowhere.   Kirsten Powers points out that “Univision” is the only media questioning President Obama with the hard questions that MUST be asked. 

CNN, well, more specifically Anderson Cooper, acts as if they just found a little pink fuzzy diary with a little latch key in the subway, instead of a Diplomat’s Journal found at the scene of his murder.   Instead of turning the journal over to investigators, the FBI or the CIA, CNN uses the information within the journal to frame their reporting and then contacts the family to notify of the finding.

(Via WallStreetJournal) CNN obtained a personal journal that belonged to the slain American ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, and broadcast reports based on its contents against the wishes of the Stevens family, according to relatives and State Department officials who were asked to intervene by the family.

CNN obtained the journal in Benghazi, where Mr. Stevens and three other Americans were killed in an attack by militants on the American consulate in the city on Sept. 11. It wasn’t clear exactly how CNN obtained the ambassador’s writings. (more…)

Former Navy SEALs died after coming to the aid of others – (CNN) — Two former Navy SEALs who were among four Americans killed last week in an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, died after rushing to the aid of their colleagues, according to sources familiar with the incident.

Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were in Benghazi as part of a security contractor force.

On September 11, they were ensconced in the safety of an annex location in another part of the city when they got word that the main consulate building was under fire and the diplomats there — with an armed force of only nine people — were overwhelmed by the deteriorating situation. (more…)

I’m calling bullsh!t on this one.   Supposedly a “Senior State Department Official” claims the attack on the consulate was so substantive that even a full marine detachment could not have stopped the terrorists.   Yeah, right…..  sounds to me like CNN better start coughing up names of these State Dept. creeps.

(CNN) Amid accusations from Libyans and leading senators on Capitol Hill that the U.S. diplomatic office in Benghazi, Libya, was not adequately protected, top State Department officials offered the agency’s most vigorous defense yet of security measures taken to fortify the post in the months before last week’s deadly attack on the compound.

The sources, who spoke on the condition they only be identified as senior State Department officials because of the sensitive nature of the information, agreed to speak to CNN to respond to claims the United States did not respond to warnings about the dangerous conditions in Benghazi. (more…)

(CBS News) BENGHAZI – Ahmed Boukhatala didn’t look like a wanted man, sipping mango juice across the table from me in a Benghazi hotel.  Dressed in a crisp white robe, a long grey beard on his face, Boukhatala was happy to share his fundamentalist Islamic beliefs.

He calmly denied having anything to do with the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate which killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

“But the President himself, Mohammed Magariaf, told us you were one of the prime suspects,” I told him.

He just smiled.   “If that’s what the President is saying,” replied Boukhatala, “Then he should come to my house and arrest me.”

But that’s something government security forces dare not do. (more…)

Will the real life story of incredible bravery, and the extreme courage of warriors Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods be lost just because of Machiavellian politics ?

Updates as more information is coming through.  Even if the true story of their heroism casts an uncomfortable light of truth upon the lies told by President Obama and his administration we will tell it.   They deserve it.

President Obama implied, quite intentionally, in his Weekly Address that Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were part of Ambassador Christopher Steven’s security detail:

“Glen and Tyrone had each served America as Navy SEALs for many years, before continuing their service providing security for our diplomats in Libya. They died as they lived their lives — defending their fellow Americans, and advancing the values that all of us hold dear.

Sounds good, the only problem is this statement is a total fabrication.   It was worded to imply Ambassador Stevens had more security than actually existed.   Yes, they were both former Navy SEAL’s, but neither Tyrone nor Glen were part of the Ambassadors official security detail. (more…)

Don’t be distracted, lulled into complacency, or frustrated by the willful ignorance of the media majority to avoid the painful questioning.    The issues comprised by the visible and public killing of our American Ambassador, and three other patriots in Libya are a BIG EFFEN’ DEAL.   They deserve better.

There is an increasing probability Ambassador Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith were killed by the very “Rebels” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton supplied with money and arms.   Indeed, as more details emerge the actual weapons used to kill these Americans might have been provided by the very NATO support operation Secretary Clinton coordinated.

Further, in attempting to obfuscate the willful neglect in President Obama’s  Weekly Address last week, he claimed the two Navy Seals, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, were part of ambassador’s stevens security detail.   THIS IS A LIE.  (more…)
