Sketchy Wall Street Journal/NBC National Poll Sets Stage For Final GOP Debate Qualifications….

The Wall Street Journal and NBC have published their last national poll prior to the debate qualification cutoff. However, there’s something considerably afoot with the entire construct of the debate field.

In addition, this poll is sketchy at best, because it only includes “252 interviews” within the poll, yet is considered a “substantive poll” used for the qualification of the debate field.  Yeah, go figure that one out.

The Highlighted Candidates are the 10 “debate qualifiers”:

Mega Fail – Reuters Tries Another Attack Approach On Trump: “Trump’s companies have sought visas to import at least 1,100 workers” (Over 15 years)

In what they call a “Reuters Exclusive” the news agency tries to undermine Donald Trump’s candidacy because Trump businesses have used H-2B Visa applications to hire workers.  This is an absolute joke, we’ll explain why.

Why this is a nothingburger –  Those unfamiliar with the South Florida general labor market are most likely unfamiliar with the extreme swings in “seasonal need” workers.

Does the word “Snowbird” ring a bell?  Florida has a “tourist season” which runs from (generally speaking) just after Thanksgiving to Easter annually.  January, February and March are the peak.  The first Monday in February is the absolute peak as almost every time-share and hotel unit flips that week.

The volume of work within the service and hospitality industry doubles during the tourist season, and those businesses who hire within the general labor market struggle to increase their labor in relationship to the increase in business.  In addition, local workers looking for employment are reluctant to take temporary or “seasonal” jobs, and prefer longer term -more stable- employment.

Many businesses need to double, or in some cases triple, their workforce in order to meet the business demand.  [In 2014 97,300,000 tourists visited Florida].  (more…)

Nothing Unites Special Interests Like a Common Enemy…

Donald Trump is leading all the regional and national polls. Two recent polls show Trump beating both Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush in Miami Florida.

Those who are open to see how Machiavellian the Republican party has become since the Citizens United decision are about to see it play out.

The ability to accept ‘what is’ has become the primary sticking point for the majority of political followers who are fraught with Stockholm syndrome and willful blindness.

Those who can accept the painful truth without agenda, have read the reason why I find myself supporting Donald Trump. I personally support him as a strategy to defeat the professional political class that is Washington DC. Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin put it well recently when he shared:

If the hierarchy within the republican party loses an election to Democrats it’s only a lost election; they are still there, and still comfortable even in the minority.

However, if the hierarchy within the republican party loses an election to Conservatives, they are out of a job.

That’s why the professional political class within the republican party, the GOPe, are more at risk from within than without. That’s also why the GOPe work harder to defeat conservatives than democrats. (more…)

POLL DATA

This national poll data, in combination with the Florida poll data released yesterday, reflects a devastating reality for the GOPe professional political class and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the GOPe financiers.

While there is still a long way to go, the strategic plans of the white wine spritzer and crust-less sandwich crowd are being compromised by Donald Trump and his coalition of supporters who are rebuking traditional candidates.

Ivana Trump: “I think Donald would make an incredible President”…

ivana trumpNEW YORK – Just a day after allegations reemerged that Donald Trump raped his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, the bombastic billionaire’s former spouse played down the controversy, saying that the two are still “the best of friends.”

“I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit,” Ivana Trump told CNN, referring to a Daily Beast report published Monday night in which Michael Cohen, a lawyer for the Republican candidate, defended his boss from a decades-old allegation that he once forced himself on his ex-wife.

“Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign,” she said.

“Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president,” Ivana Trump, who divorced her husband in 1992, added. (read more)
