Tripwire Alert – Understanding Why Mitt Romney is Making Ridiculous Claims About Donald Trump’s Taxes….

Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney is going “full Mississippi” with claims about Donald Trump’s taxes.  It doesn’t matter that there is no basis for the ridiculous assertions – the truth and/or facts are not what matters when you go “full Mississippi”…. it’s a strategy!

The absolute worst thing Donald Trump could do is to respond to it.  Responding to the provocation is exactly what they want.  Dismiss it like you would swat an annoying gnat.

Mitt Romney – “The reason that I think there’s a bombshell in there is because every time he’s asked about his taxes he dodges and delays and says, ‘Well we’re working on it,'” Romney told Fox News.

“We’re now, you know, in late February and we still haven’t seen either Donald Trump’s or Marco Rubio’s or Ted Cruz’s taxes,” he added, referring to the two US senators challenging Trump for the nomination.

“Frankly the voters have a right to see those tax returns before they decide who our nominee ought to be.” (link)

There is a specific reason why Mitt Romney is saying this.  There is also a specific reason why this specific reason, income taxes, is being used.  Here’s what’s going on. (more…)

GOPe Announce Plans To Go “Full Mississippi” on Donald Trump To Destroy Him….

When little known Chris McDaniel beat entrenched republican senator Thad Cochran in the first Mississippi primary of 2014 it triggered a series of events that became known simply as “Mississippi ’14“.

The entrenched DC republican elite developed a plan to destroy McDaniel before the run-off primary.  They decided to call McDaniel a racist, pay for print and broadcast attack ads, request help from black Mississippi pastors, and pay Democrats, preachers and voters to vote in the run-off election.  Republicans in DC attacking a republican outsider.

Their Machiavellian plan worked.  In the run-off Chris McDaniel again beat Thad Cochran with republican voters, but the paid-to-vote Democrats lifted Cochran back onto the throne in the elite Republican Chamber.

Against the desperation of a South Carolina victory for Donald Trump, and now a Nevada victory for Donald Trump, the DC Republican team have re-enlisted the exact same players to roll out a similar nuclear attack approach against the ‘outsider republican’. (more…)

Donald Trump’s Amazingly Incredible YUGE Day In Overwhelming Statistics…

Pundits call this the “Big Mo“, meaning Big Momentum… unless, of course, they are describing it in relationship to Donald Trump.  With anti-Trump media, momentum becomes an inconvenient reality to be ignored; because in the 2016 presidential election cycle MSM define winning as who comes next closest to third place…. or something.

Rasmussen Polling and Tracking shows Donald Trump taking a much larger lead than the media are willing to discuss.   Trump has picked up another five points since South Carolina:

rasmussen poll

[…]  The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Republican Voters finds Trump with 36% support, giving him a 15-point lead over Senator Marco Rubio who earns 21% of the vote. Senator Ted Cruz is in third place with 17%.  (Link)

In addition Reuters polling averages completely validate what we previously predicted over a year ago.  In a three way race between Trump, Rubio and Cruz, candidate Donald Trump locks up 46%, Ted Cruz 25% and Marco Rubio 24%.  (link)

If either Cruz or Rubio drop out, Trump will jump over 60% gaining roughly a third to a half (or more) of the eliminated opponent.   So much for the “ceilings” the pundits are so happy to discuss. (more…)

Deconstructing The Insufferable “Ceiling Narrative” Yet Again…

As previously mentioned, in order to try and dilute the overwhelming victories being achieved by candidate Donald J Trump the media continues to sell a specific narrative that Trump has a ceiling of support.  The premise is that this “ceiling” can block Trump from running the table in state primary elections.

GOP Candidates Attend Presidential Family Forum In Des Moines

According to the punditry and professional political class, if the current field shrinks down, the non-Trump vote (Rubio or Cruz) will grow larger than Donald Trump’s vote.  Of course this ridiculous assertion assumes that any individual candidate’s support will go monolithically 100% to the next candidate.

As an example they say: if Carson drops out, 100% his support would go to Ted Cruz.  Or, if John Kasich drops out, 100% of his support would go to Marco Rubio.

However, a recent statistical analysis of this exact question has been conducted (yesterday) by Elon University polling in North Carolina (pdf here), and the factual results are entirely different. (more…)
