Washington State Election Deadline is Today

Washington State holds 44 Delegates.  The polling closes at 8:00pm tonight.  All voting is done by mail in ballot.
All 44 of Washington’s delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today’s Presidential Primary.
Delegates are awarded by State total vote (14) and by congressional district (30):

• Each of the state’s 10 congressional districts is allocated 3 delegates.
  • If a candidate receives a majority of the vote or only 1 candidate receives 20% of the vote, that candidate receives all 3 delegates.
  • If there are 2 candidates who receive at least 20% of the primary vote, then the top vote getter will be allocated 2 delegates and the other candidate will be allocated 1 delegate.
  • If no candidate receives at least 20% of the vote or more than 2 candidates receive at least 20% of the vote, then the top three vote getters each receive 1 delegate.

CNN broadcast a one hour special yesterday called “Why they hate us” discussing why adherents to the most authentic interpretations of Islam hate the United States.
Overall, the broadcasted presentation by Fareed Zakaria was good; actually, very good.  Perhaps one of the best one hour presentations in quite a while.  The content was engaging, the historical references were well presented and well outlined…. until a fatal flaw. The common, disconcerting and uncomfortable fatal flaw.

In what can only be viewed as an effort to downplay the scope of the threat, Fareed Zakaria claims the existence of only 100,000 jihad-minded Islamic followers world-wide.  Fifteen minutes later he presents the 2014 terror victim outcome of 30,000 dead in a single year from Muslim Terrorist Attacks; most victims also Muslim – as if that matters.
Zakaria would have the viewing audience believe that 100k world-wide adherent followers, could inflict 30,00 fatalities.  Common sense, not prone to co-dependency, would refute such an obtuse argument. (more…)

TMZ Reports – Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, was at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Jersey today.  Preparation for the 2017 Women’s Open with Cristie Kerr, Paula Creamer and Brittany Lincicome when they decided to show off their swings.

Having noted a Politico article with Speaker Paul Ryan mentioned in a litany of media articles today, all spinning the same narrative, we decided to dig directly to the sourcing and find out what CBS (here), The Hill (here), and Politico (here), were actually selling.

Candidate Donald Trump released a new social media video on Monday (via instagram) using audio of Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick who have accused President Clinton of sexual assault.

Candidate Hillary Clinton has been called an “enabler” by both Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick who have also asserted Hillary began a smear campaign against them to protect the political future of her husband.

Much is being made of this meeting today between Senator Bob Corker and Donald Trump.  Some have speculated this is a potential meeting because Corker is a possible vice-presidential candidate….  Absolutely WRONG.
Corker is meeting with Donald Trump as an “ambassador from the Wall Street legislative architects”.

Refer to all of those prior discussion and research posts about Wall Street not understanding who Donald Trump is, and what his intentions are toward their legislative endeavors.   They do not understand what he means by “America First”; they are actively trying to figure it out.  Please also reference the prior discussions on economic shifts over the past three decades and the “hidden economy”.    All these factors are converging.
Senator Bob Corker is one of the Corinthian Chair holders along with McConnell, Hatch, Cornyn, Cochran, et al.   In this meeting Corker was acting as an ambassador of sorts, an intermediary, from the Wall Street legislation team.   Corker is researching, probing, trying to determine “the play” and potential risk. Senator Jeff Sessions appeared on Fox News Sunday to discuss the state of the GOP primary, republican party nominee Donald Trump, and the state of the race:

There’s a whole lot of good news and ‘splodey head angst in the latest ABC/Washington Post national poll (full pdf below). The poll sample size of 1005 includes a mix of 33% Democrat, 27% Republican and 35% Independent. Democrats over sampled by eight points, (D+8).
However, even with the sample skew (D+8) Donald Trump still beats Hillary Clinton 46% to 44%, and Trump is crushing Clinton with Independent voters 48% to 35%.

In addition to the overwhelming 13 point polling lead among independent voters, the same poll shows that 20% of Bernie Sanders supporters will vote for Donald Trump.
Also, very optimistically presented in the poll data is the exact percentage of Mitt Romney Voters (Never Trumpers) we predicted back in March that would defect to Team Clinton, 6%.   Conversely, when the race switches from the primary to the General Election 8% of Clinton primary voters will vote Trump.
