A Paradigm Shift is needed – Urgently.   It cannot be provided to you, you must develop it within your own mind – and you’d better do it quick; or you will lose.

If you are a regular reader of this site you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker.  Meaning you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.   But for some reason, even those who understand big picture dynamics are still comfortable sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”.   Most people are still clinging to actually beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to National Leadership.

You’d better change that thinking quickly – or you’ll be asking ‘what happened’ far too late.

There seems to be a willful blindness on the part of the American people, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.

It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of “I can’t see what’s happening” because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate.

“I can’t see it” just doesn’t cut it.

Bullshit!  You can see it, you are just choosing to reconcile the irreconcilable because it is more comforting to ignore the truth of it.   You are scared: (more…)

Naive people continue to state that Gun Control legislation will not pass the Senate or House.   These are the same voices who said “Obamacare is effectively dead”…  short-sighted, and insufferably wrong.   They screamed “70% of Americans do not want Obamacare – That WAS correct but they got it anyway.   The Senate, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi pushed through the Obamacare bill by ridiculously manipulative rule changes and procedural machinations.   Gun Control legislation will be done the same way.   Guns will be banned. 

It does not matter the size of the opposition, the left operates effectively as a minority influence to change and subvert the will of the majority – they always have.   The question of gun control is not “if”, but “when” and to what extreme.   Personally, I believe that only revolvers will be permitted in the eventual allowances, and single bolt-action rifles also.  Everything else will be outlawed.

WASHINGTON DC – With pressure building from Democrats, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid opened the door Monday for legislative action on gun control in the wake of the deadly massacre at a Connecticut elementary school last week.

While he said “no one law” or policy can stop a “determined madman,” Reid argued that Washington is “not doing enough” to protect the public from tragic episodes like the one that unfolded in Newtown, Conn. where 20 children and six adults were murdered by an armed assailant. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – The battle over the fiscal cliff appears to have already delayed the start of President Obama’s annual Hawaii vacation, which was set to begin as early as today.

According to the Hawaii Reporter, officials had informed residents of Oahu that the usual Obama vacation-related restrictions on their travel would go into effect today and last until January 6. The White House has not announced specific vacation plans, though the restrictions are a good indicator of when they were planning to be in Hawaii. (more…)

Connecticut – All of the children killed by the gunman were shot multiple times, according to the state’s chief medical examiner, who said that it was worst scene he had witnessed in three decades examining crime scenes.

Dr. Carver said that parents were shown photos of their children to spare them from seeing the gruesome results of the shooting rampage, which left 20 children dead, along with six adults at the school. The gunman, identified by law enforcement officials as Adam Lanza, took his own life and also shot and killed his mother at his home before going to the school. Dr. Carver said that they had not yet completed examinations of Mr. Lanza and his mother.  Dr. Carver said that in the seven autopsies he himself had performed, the victims had from 3 to 11 wounds each. MICHIGAN –  A speaker at a union protest against right-to-work legislation said if Gov. Rick Snyder signed the bill he would get “no rest” and that protesters would be at his “daughter’s soccer game.” (threats start at :40 mark).

The Rev. Charles Williams II made the comments Tuesday to loud cheers before a group of thousands of union workers. After his promises to harass Gov. Snyder, he introduced Rep. Richard Hammel, D-Mt. Morris Township, and House Minority Leader Tim Greimel, D-Auburn Hills. Williams is a Detroit-area pastor and left-wing activist.

Gov. Snyder later that day signed a bill into law making Michigan a right-to-work state. One of his daughters is a 16-year-old high school student. (more…)

On Thursday’s “Your World,” Neil Cavuto repeatedly pressed Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson for specifics on what Democrats would be willing to cut as part of a budget agreement. For her part, the Texas congresswoman insisted on focusing on “revenue generation.”

[liberal/progressive policies and ] public efforts to transform the mental health care system to be more humane, to characterize mentally ill people as “Just thinking differently”, and characterizing mental health care as some form of evil, we now have a system that makes it virtually impossible to get folks like Lanza the care they need.

Deinstitutionalization policies driven by “do good” liberals and the federal government put focus on limited bad acts. Kesey wrote a story based on his LSD induced observations in one VA mental hospital. [One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest]   Once his story was put into film, his small example falsely characterized the bulk of mental health care as dehumanizing and made it impossible to force the Lanza’s of the world to get treatment.

According to ABC News, Ryan Lanza, the older brother of 20-year-old Connecticut school massacre perpetrator Adam Lanza, has told police that his brother has Asperger Syndrome and another “personality disorder.” ABC News reports:  Neighbors described the younger man to ABC as “odd” and displaying characteristics associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder.
