As much as most of us dislike Salem Media lapdog Hugh Hewitt, he finally makes the point that needs to be underlined about Donald Trump -vs- Hillary Clinton when referencing history.

A 2016 voter who was a teen during Bill Clinton’s time in the White House, is now a thirty something voter who might be learning about the history of Clinton scandals for the first time.   There is an entire generation of the electorate who might be completely oblivious to how vengeful Hillary Clinton was against Bill’s victims.

In addition, how many people under the age 30 know about Team Clinton destroying the White House when Al Gore lost to George W Bush? (more…)

A recent Rasmussen poll (unfortunately, private data) shows Hillary Clinton 37% and Donald Trump 36% in a statistical dead heat. However, if you look at the actual data as presented by Rasmussen you find:

[…] Seventy-five percent (75%) of Democrats back Clinton, up five points from October. Trump draws support from 63% of Republicans, virtually unchanged from the previous survey. Unaffiliated voters prefer Trump 36% to 25%, but 29% of these voters like some other candidate. These findings also are similar to the October survey. (link)

If Trump is tied with Hillary and yet only 63% of identified Republicans support Trump this means a larger portion of Republicans are “non-Trump”, than Democrats who are “non-Hillary”.  Here’s the math as presented which shows how centrist and dominant Donald Trump’s appeal is. (more…)

One of Donald Trump’s greatest benefits in a general election match-up is oddly one of our own greatest long-term antagonisms:  the generational, and insufferable, weakness of Republicans.

For approximately 30 years the GOP has been in full retreat from an onslaught of progressive liberalism.  Arguably retreat began picking up speed around the time of the Regan-era Iran-Contra scandal, which was unfortunately compounded by a New Jersey RNC lawsuit loss and subsequent life-time Consent Decree.

Regardless of origin, the general republican party has been comprised of spineless twits for the past 3+ decades.

However, setting aside the DNC and RNC -for all intents and purposes having melded into one nuanced UniParty- as a direct consequence of the GOP weakness, the Democrat Party have become accustomed to their opposition being weak and ineffective.  The Republicans are notoriously infected with a defensive flinching more customarily seen amid those with battered spouse syndrome. The third Democrat debate is tonight in New Hampshire at 8:00pmEST. It could contain more fireworks than anticipated following news that Bernie Sanders’ campaign had been suspended from using a Democratic National Committee voter database. The Sanders campaign filed a lawsuit against the DNC yesterday demanding its access be restored.

The debate is being held at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. and moderated by uber progressives David Muir and Martha Raddatz of ABC News. Muir and Raddatz were supposed to be joined by WMUR-TV anchor Josh McElveen, but the station was removed as a co-host of the debate after failing to resolve a labor dispute.

There is no doubt the DNC is 100% in the tank for Hillary Clinton; to claim otherwise is to be obtuse beyond the scope of intellectual honesty.  Bernie Sanders has been up against the Clinton machine for the past several months.  Things are now becoming untenable within the campaigns, and no-one does ‘nasty’ like the Clintons, no-one.

WASHINGTON DC – A civil war erupted within the Democratic Party on Friday after news that Bernie Sanders’ campaign took advantage of a technological glitch to access, search and save one of Hillary Clinton’s most valuable campaign assets — her voter files.

Tension rapidly escalated throughout the day as the Democratic National Committee cut off Sanders’ access to his own voter files, effectively crippling his field operation, and the senator retaliated by suing the party and accusing its leaders of plotting to hand the presidential nomination to Clinton. (Via Fox News) As the number of classified Hillary Clinton emails grew to nearly 1,000, they also reveal how freely she and her staff shared information on the Benghazi attacks, including confirming the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens – and even celebrating her controversial hearing appearance where she asked, “What difference, at this point, does it make” what led to the attacks.

Hillary Clinton gave a BIG National Security Policy speech today in New York at the Council of Foreign Relations.  Everything about the event was such a significant fail, it cannot be accidental.  Everything was a fail, both the optics and the substance.

Secretary Clinton delivered an awkwardly high-school-like speech presented with a particularly concerning unfamiliarity the content.   So bizarre is the delivery that it deserves some highlight.  Here’s the full speech, but you only need to watch the first three minutes.  (Note – pay attention to the wording at 02:40 “Radical Jihadism”):

The ever-shrinking group of democrats who are not far left-wing moonbats, are increasingly frustrated by the structural advantages embedded within the DNC control over Hillary Clinton’s anointment.    By design the CBS debate yesterday only drew 8 million viewers.

The DNC set up limited debates and scheduled them to coordinate with other national events that intentionally diminish viewership.   With the terrible ratings last night, a growing frustration bubbles again:

WASHINGTON […]  “Look, there was a clear intent to bury these debates to the benefit of Clinton,” said another Democratic campaign official on Sunday afternoon. “And it is doing a disservice to the Democratic Party. The GOP is blowing out numbers — and we are protecting Hillary Clinton.”

Both of the last two Republican debates were held on smaller networks than CBS — CNBC and Fox Business — and they got over 13 million viewers. The first two Republican debates — on CNN and Fox News — each broke 20 million. (more…)
