Bill Whittle & Larry Arnn Discuss Education, and Common Core

Bill Whittle is joined by the President of Hillsdale College, Dr. Larry Arnn. Hillsdale College is the only college in the nation to accept no government funding, whether it be Federal or State money. The College still holds true to the old notions of a real liberal arts education, teaching the classics and educating about the higher things, like our Greco-Roman heritage.

Hillsdale College is a ‘Trustee of Modern Man’s Intellectual and Spiritual Inheritance’

Hillsdale also sponsors on-line courses free of charge for any who wish to learn.  They recently added a series on Economics.  If you would like to learn more about Hillsdale, click Here.

The Journey Of The Hero

I just finished Bill Whittle’s latest essay, ShardsShards was written from the heart to each of us.  If you are wondering what you can do in the face of overwhelming evil, you may find the answer there.  If you feel that all is lost, you may find some inspiration and hope there.

It's Not a Bug, It's The Future

FTA:

This is what government is, and this is what government does: it is a responsibility-avoiding, perpetual motion machine. That’s why even the most capable areas of Government – the military – swim in nicknames like SNAFU, FUBAR and BOHICA.
If I were shopping for health insurance, and I had tried, and failed, to log on to a web site twice – not forty times, but twice! – they would have lost my business and I would have taken my money to a competitor in the not unreasonable belief that if these people are so incompetent that they can’t even take my money then maybe I shouldn’t be trusting them with my daughter’s heart transplant.”
