A recent CIA “press briefing” has led to a new, but not unexpected, evolutionary narrative explaining the insufferable incompetence and obfuscation surrounding the Benghazi slaughter.
What better administrative “cover” for the falsehoods, lies and intentional administrative spin on the murders of four Americans than to hide behind the guise of the Central Intelligence Agency. Vis-a-vi: “we had to lie because it was all secret and stuff”… Seriously? So this is the strategy now to hide the incompetence?

The Obama administration selected Thomas R Pickering to lead the *investigation* into the Benghazi massacre……
(FrontPageMag) America is a seething hotbed of “Islamophobia,” filled with ignorant racist rubes who irrationally fear the benign Muslim religion, according to the Obama administration’s lead investigator into the Benghazi atrocities.
So said former Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering in more polished, diplomatic language during an Oct. 23 panel discussion at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The talk was on “what role the faith community can play in fighting Islamophobia,” a make-believe mental illness that Islamists would love to have listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Radical Islam’s stateside defenders frequently accuse anti-terrorism hawks of “McCarthyism,” hurling the epithet “Islamophobe” the same way American leftists use the word “racist” to shut down debate. The latest example was evident last night on the Erin Burnett show, “Out Front”, when she engaged the Benghazi story with an “exclusive” of sorts.
As the bodies in Staten Island Homes lay rotting amid the rubble waiting to be discovered, and FEMA has yet to step foot on the Island, the *more important* work, the ideological priority work, pumping out tunnels continues…. ain’t this typical Governmental priority? “yeah, we’ll get around to the dead people sooner or later, but first we need to clear the way to the Starbucks”….. I digress…. This, all of this, is about a concious “looking away”… Doesn’t matter if it’s pumping out a Tunnel and ignoring the dead bodies in the houses – or – Talking about an election and ignoring the dead bodies from Benghazi….. FUBAR !
Jake Tapper, trapped inside the most brutally, and obviously, and insufferably, biased of all faux journalistic enterprises, ABC, squeaks out a politically correct and filtered query of sorts. Pushing the envelope just about as far as the ABC ‘betters’ will allow him to go:
(Jake Tapper) As he left his Marine One helicopter Wednesday evening and walked to the residence of the White House, President Obama did not respond to a question shouted out by ABC News’s Mary Bruce about when he would begin to provide answers to the numerous questions building up about what exactly what went wrong in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012.

WASHINGTON DC – The U.S. Mission in Benghazi convened an “emergency meeting” less than a month before the assault that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, because Al Qaeda had training camps in Benghazi and the consulate could not defend against a “coordinated attack,” according to a classified cable reviewed by Fox News.
Summarizing an Aug. 15 emergency meeting convened by the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, the Aug. 16 cable marked “SECRET” said that the State Department’s senior security officer, also known as the RSO, did not believe the consulate could be protected. (more…)
Before you read this excellent consideration by Clare Lopez outlining the serious possibility for Turkish involvement in the Benghazi attack, it is important to remember how close President Obama is to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan is a severe islamist and both Obama and Erdogan are very friendly.
What she outlines in this report is extremely alarming to consider, given the nature of President Obama and Erdogan’s personal friendship and given the nature of Turkey’s involvement with the Syrian uprising.

According to an October 27, 2012 report, Libyan witnesses from the Benghazi neighborhood where the U.S. compound was located told reporters from the Associated Press (AP) that “150 bearded gunmen, some wearing the Afghan-style tunics favored by Islamic militants began sealing off the streets” leading to the facility “around nightfall.” (more…)
video added….. If anyone was watching Fox News with Greta Van Sustern last night you witnessed an explosive interview with former Col Bing West. West outlines, once again, with specific certainty, that it is impossible for President Obama to have done what he has said he did. If President Obama said to Secretary Panetta and Chairman of Joint Chiefs Dempsey, “do whatever you need to in order to protect our people”, then an execute order would exist from Panetta / Dempsey to Africom General Ham to take action.
General Ham has publicly stated he received no such Order, or even a “request”, he has recently been replaced as Africom commander, and shockingly is now retiring: (more…)
