AUSTRALIA – As the sun rises over the southern Indian Ocean the search resumes for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 with possible objects discovered in the water deemed the “best lead” yet.
Four aircraft were tasked by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority to focus on a 23,000 square kilometre area about 2500 kilometres southwest of Perth.
The search planes set set off from Perth at 4am local time (7am AEDT) and it is expected they will take four hours to reach the search area.
They are investigating satellite data imagery which identified two objects possibly related to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight which disappeared on March 8 with 239 people on board. (more…)
CNN is Reporting that Australian “authorities” are confirming that partial aircraft wreckage has been located. All Global Media now confirm initial CNN report – Australian Media
The Australian Prime-Minister, Tony Abbott, has given the media direct first-hand confirmation that they are reasonably sure they have located some of Malaysian Airlines 370 wreckage.
More air and sea assets are en-route to the vicinity for assistance, confirmation and recovery.

@11:30 pm – Aerial Photographs of the wreckage have been taken by low flying reconnaissance aircraft and are currently en-route back to Australia. Anticipated arrival back on mainland Australia 5hrs [Currently 00:00 (midnight EST) so photo’s should arrive approx. 05:00 am EST] Here is Prime Minister announcement:

In essence the analysis points to this:
The United States knows by now [Boeing – Aircraft Health Monitoring System – AHMS], and can more-likely prove, by now [Satellite Optical Locating], where the physical location of the flagged Malaysian airliner is. That’s not really the big issue.
The bigger issue shifts, “what now”?
Think about it. If you are a state government, and this plane is physically located in your nation, and your ambassador has been called to an office within the U.S. security apparatus, and you’ve been told (perhaps shown) the evidence that this plane is sitting in your country, what are you going to do ?
It’s not an issue as long as no-one knows where it is. But once discovered…. No-one, *NO-ONE*, wants to be the nation of location.
Regardless of your nation’s political ideology – the outcome of your nation attached to this plane’s disappearance on day #12 is disconcerting in infinite magnitudes. It matters not whether or not your central governing body had anything to do with it – we’re beyond the point where that would make a difference. (more…)
Our working theory is essentially HERE. While it represents a rough outline to explain the Malaysian Government reaction – it’s supported by more recent confirmations including: the passports of the two Iranian Nationals were used the year before to obtain Chinese entry visa’s in June of 2013. In addition, a commercial flight fitting the profile of a Boeing 777 was potentially spotted flying through the Southern Maldives; just south of heavy shipping lanes which one would seek to avoid if flying dark.

Regardless of whether the Northern Route (through Western China/Himalayas) or Southern Route (around India – Maldives report) was taken, the destination becomes the real question.
Detection, or more aptly the ability to escape detection, is really a no-brainer. No-one who actually has experience in intelligence or military disputes the ability to fly undetected into an autonomous region – “if you know what you are doing”. The U.S. Military does it all the time with surveillance flights and drones.
If the theory of Islamists taking the flight is maintained – the supporting state/nation then becomes the larger issue. Iran or Pakistan ? Both are within flight distance, and both have ideological elements within them which would support such an agenda.
So lets look at what Retired General McInerney has to say: (more…)
HAVEERU NEWS – Residents of the remote Maldives island of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll have reported seeing a “low flying jumbo jet” on the morning of the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Whilst the disappearance of the Boeing 777 jet, carrying 239 passengers has left the whole world in bewilderment, several residents of Kuda Huvadhoo told Haveeru on Tuesday that they saw a “low flying jumbo jet” at around 6:15am on March 8.
They said that it was a white aircraft, with red stripes across it – which is what the Malaysia Airlines flights typically look like. (more…)
Yesterday contributor Kairn wrote this outline which holds mind-blowing ramifications if an intercontinental airliner was equipped with a nuclear device. Obviously, things are unknown and this is just a hypothetical outline of what could happen if a rogue Islamic state, like Iran, were to assist a jihadist group to repurpose MH-370 or any intercontinental long range airliner.

But if you actually sit and think about “what if” – – – – What if a nuclear weapon was aboard a flight-based mobile platform. It’s in the air, you find out. Good grief… how would the world respond ?
The Kairn Hypothetical – This plane could be transformed into a flying “Hot Potato”. Once these evil bastards are done with their ground work, and after this plane is back up in the air, and has cleared Iranian airspace, the responsible group could announce to the whole world that the plane is in the air and that it is now a seriously deadly weapon.
I’m sure they have an exact target they will be directly flying to. But since the plane has been made in to a “Hot Potato” they will be just as happy to have the nuclear blast happen anywhere outside of Iranian airspace.
We know from media reports the two stolen passports were used by two Iranian Nationals. We have previously been told the passports were used to try and gain entry to Europe their final destination. However, if this report from the LA Times is accurate EVERYTHING changes and actually aligns with our theory of why the plane was taken.

BEIJING — Stolen passports carried by two Iranian men to board missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 were used last year by two people applying for visas to work as entertainers in China, according to the head of an entertainment company. (more…)

Malaysian flight 370 was taken by team aligned with Islamist ideology.
The plane was taken for use in a future event.
The Malaysian authorities are: a.) embarrassed by their own security ineptitude, b.) desperate to avoid the appearance of that ineptitude, and c.) unwilling to admit their nation is not compromised entirely of the secular melting pot they espouse to the outside world. Indeed Malaysia has been yet another nation with internal Islamist conflict despite their diligent efforts to obfuscate in that regard. (more…)

(Telegraph) […] Evidence of a plot by Malaysian Islamists to hijack a passenger jet in a 9/11-style attack is being investigated in connection with the disappearance of Flight MH370.
An al-Qaeda supergrass (informer) told a court last week that four to five Malaysian men had been planning to take control of a plane, using a bomb hidden in a shoe to blow open the cockpit door.
