Millions of Americans and the Brian Terry family beg to differ….. Insufferable. This is the exact same mindset that stated the “people” did not care about the “process” in manipulating Obamacare into law by any means possible.
Rules matter, jerk. We are a nation of Laws – NOT OF MEN !
WASHINGTON – President Obama’s spokesman urged House Republicans on Wednesday to cancel a planned vote to hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in contempt of Congress, saying most Americans don’t care about the separation-of-powers struggle.
“We hope Republicans change their minds as to what the right course of action is,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney, adding that lawmakers should be focused instead on boosting the economy. “I cannot imagine this will sit well with most Americans.”
But Mr. Carney said the White House was under no illusions about the Republicans’ plans, and administration officials expect the House vote against Mr. Holder to proceed. (more…)
Eric Holder and House GOP members failed to reach an agreement. Holdup’s attempted blackmail failed.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Obama administration officials and House Republican staff members have met but failed to resolve a document dispute that could lead to a precedent-setting contempt of Congress vote Thursday against Attorney General Eric Holder.

A House Republican official, not authorized to be quoted by name, said Tuesday that White House and Justice Department representatives showed the GOP staff 30 documents related to the botched Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation. (more…)
Thanks Puddy Paws O’Brilliance for part of the vid from last nights Geraldo Show.
Discuss.
There is a growing reality coming to the surface. However, the cultural marxists, those with white guilt and the PC crowd, will not discuss it openly in the sunlight.

The opponents to self defense laws, gun ownership rights, Stand Your Ground laws and issues surrounding the individual(s) responsibility to protect themselves, are more visibly concerned about self defense empowerment creating the inability for blacks to be more efficient or productive in their attacks against non-blacks.
That is really what Natalie Jackson is saying here. If you defend George Zimmerman you are allowing non-blacks to defend themselves from black thugs. Guns in the hands of non-blacks allow those who would be victims to defend themselves and that cannot be allowed.
Following the Jackson logic: Non-blacks should just remain securely in their homes. Should they need to travel, they should drive with the windows up and doors locked while passing through the safari to avoid danger. The same mindset in The Virginia Pilot beatings – If you stop at an intersection to obey traffic laws, and if your car is attacked with bricks, stay inside keep the doors locked and drive away quickly.
To quote the Colorado Mayor Michael Hancock just last night:
“We will not surrender this city to anyone,”
Terribly sad. A Treeper, CR, family member was at the event and confirms the shooter was a black male, however no police confirmation yet….. and you know the media will avoid like the plague.
COLORADO – A female police officer was shot and killed Sunday night during Denver’s popular City Park Jazz scene, sending hundreds of people fleeing as shots were fired.

The officer was shot in the head while breaking up a fight just as the music ended. She was taken to a hospital, where she was declared dead. (more…)
President Obama personally inserted himself into the Fast & Furious gun walking scandal after he extended executive privilege over certain DOJ documentation. Was the Fast & Furious a botched scandal, or a deliberate effort to undermine the Second Amendment? Find out as Bill Whittle explores the ideological motives behind the Fast & Furious scandal.
Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law is complicating matters for prosecutors rushing to convict George Zimmerman. The law is clear that residents can meet force with force when they feel threatened.

June 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ — Florida’s Stand Your Ground law allows residents to use deadly force to defend themselves or their property, and when doing so, protects them from prosecution. This law may derail the prosecution of defendant George Zimmerman in the much-publicized case of a neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed teenager Trayvon Martin. (more…)
In the video, and in the article, the local law enforcement again repeat the mantra she was “lucky” and it is best to avoid confrontation/contact with attackers. However, does anyone consider that the “avoidance principle” is exactly what empowers these attackers to escalate their activity?
Two teenage boys, one 16 and one 18, grope young Ms. Dang, and let’s say she just took off running, what do you think these boys will do next time? While I certainly agree that a person should never put themselves knowingly in a position of danger, once that danger is encountered I do not subscribe to automatically thinking the best option is to engage the “victim” mentality.
Obviously Ms. Dang was prepared, and well trained, to defend herself. Why should she be diminished, or even admonished, from the capacity to do just that “defend herself”?
Many people mistakenly believe one of the roles of government is to protect them from physical harm. However, this is not the case. One only has to look up the concept of “affirmative duty” to understand what the Supreme Court has defined as the role of any government entity in regard to protection of citizenry; both at Local/State and Federal levels. In short it can be encapsulated as: (more…)
Re-posted for recoverydotgod but perhaps many people will also benefit from revisiting.
RE-POST: Perhaps this update is best contrasted against the concept of “Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon“. The associations highlighted explain how Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s dad, was put into contact with Benjamin Crump, the proverbial head of the “scheme team”, and along the way the cast of characters is quite interesting.
As well as one seeking political office in Miami-Dade.

Mr. Trayvon Martin was not the only person creating a well, shall we say, “colorful“, on-line and in-real-life social style. Indeed, the new age social media platform(s), in all their unintended varieties, provide an odd connectivity to even the most embarrassingly public of profiles. Especially when running for political office 😉
Here is an odd story of association that stems from within this Reuters article: (more…)
