Ted Nugent: Fighting In The Streets

New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg stated that he’s worried that American young people will begin to riot in our streets because of their unemployment.
While the mayor and I disagree on most things, he might be onto to something here.
I recently opined that I couldn’t figure out why America’s young people were not already rioting because of the stacks of debt being foisted on their backs by a government that would rather borrow and spend than live within its means. (more…)

Khamenei: Israel A "Cancerous Tumor" That Must Be Removed

Khaled Meshal

Hamas leader Khaled Meshal told an international conference in Iran on Saturday that “resistance” was the only option left for the Palestinians.
Meshal was addressing the “5th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada” in Iran’s capital Tehran.
“Palestinians must resort to resistance no matter how costly it is, until Palestine is free and Israel is destroyed,” Meshal said.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who also spoke at the conference on Saturday, assailed a two (more…)

Obama Defied, Palestinians Denied……..$$$$$$$

The United States Congress has blocked nearly $200m in aid for the Palestinians, threatening projects such as food aid, health care, and support for efforts to build a functioning state.
The decision to delay the payments runs counter to the wishes of the Obama administration and reflects Congressional anger at Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s so far unrealised pursuit of Fatah-Hamas reconciliation and statehood recognition at the UN. (more…)

For $3.00, They Can Call Their Mama And Eat Well

Perhaps First Lady Obama needs to drop by President Obama’s re-election campaign headquarters in Chicago and give some tips on healthy eating and moderation:  The overworked staffers are absolutely gorging on lousy food, according to Rufus Gifford, the National Finance Director for Obama for America.  Staffers have eaten a year’s worth of junk in “the past few weeks,” Gifford said today.  And they’re hyper-caffeinated, too.
“We’ve all had more pizza and bad takeout in the past few weeks than anyone should have in a year,” Gifford wrote in an e-mail request for a $3 donation.
“The staff and I are working around the clock, powered by too much coffee.”

Gifford was unperturbed by the fact that he and his fellow staffers might be facing years of consequences–and huge health-care costs–from diet-related diseases.
“No one’s complaining; that’s what we signed up for,” Gifford wrote.  Though he does mention that “It’s been way too long since we called our moms.” (more…)

The Tricounty Fire, September, 2011

Note how FEMA helped (NOT).  This is a great commentary on Texas folks vs Big Govt.

Here are some stories about the Tricounty fire in Montgomery , Grimes, and
Waller County, TX, Memorial week, 2011.
My neighbor across the
road has a sister named Kenna. Memorial Day, when she saw the huge column of
smoke over our homes, she left a birthday party at my neighbor’s house to meet
with her friend Tara at the Baseball complex in Magnolia. She called the owner
of the complex and got permission to use the warehouse there as a staging area
for donations for the fire fighting effort. (more…)

Friday Open Thread – September 30th

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †
