Fire up the coffee pots……  Things are about to get interesting on Capitol Hill.  The Debt Ceiling is looming fast, budgets are being considered, an attempt at defunding Obamacare is right around the corner.  In Egypt, Obama & PantSuits are back on the side of Mubarak (again, maybe, well, today).  Perhaps they finally took a close look at the options vis-a-vi Vice President Omar Suleiman (err, secret police anyone?), & the Muslim Brotherhood (“Global Islamic Conquest“) .  What’s on your mind today?

The Party of Death (Politico)- The Senate’s fiercest abortion rights supporters vowed to block two measures Republicans are pushing in the House from passage in the upper chamber. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) told reporters “I do think we’ll have 41” votes necessary to block legislation backed by some members of House GOP leadership that would further restrict federal funds for abortions. Boxer was referring to a procedural maneuver that would require 60 votes to get a bill to the floor. (more…)

(The Hill) — Sen. Dick Lugar (R-Ind.) chided Tea Party activists in his state, telling them to “get real” about their opposition to the New START treaty. Lugar, who voted for the treaty’s confirmation late last year, dismissed the Tea Party’s criticism of his vote, as Lugar heads into a primary where he’s expected to face a challenge from the conservative, activist movement. “I’ve got to say ‘Get real,’” Lugar told an Indiana CBS affiliate. “I hear Tea Party or other people talking about they were against START. On the situation in Egypt:   “Remember, President Reagan lived that mantra trust but verify. We want to be able to trust those who are screaming for democracy there in Egypt, that it is a true sincere desire for freedoms. And the challenge that we have though, is how do we verify what it is that we are being told, what it is that the American public is being fed via media, via the protestors, via the government there in Egypt in order for us to really have some sound information to make wise decisions on what our position is.
