MADISON, Wis. (AP) – A Wisconsin senator says he does not believe Senate Democrats will return to work unless Gov. Scott Walker shows a willingness to negotiate on his plan to effectively eliminate union rights for most public employees. Sen. Jon Erpenbach of Middleton said Sunday he remains at a Chicago hotel. He says Senate Democrats scattered outside of Wisconsin had a conference call Saturday night and remain united in their tactic to try to slow down the bill.
He says the delay has allowed for the public to be informed about the stakes of Walker’s plan. He says unions agreed to make concessions on health care and pension benefits and now it’s time for Walker to back off his plan to take away their ability to collectively bargain for benefits and working conditions. More frilliance from the world of (IamDangy) aka… Ann Barnhardt – Ann Barnhardt is an islamophobe – I am encouraged lately to read more and more articles and essays wherein an honest discussion of islam, its nature and its core characteristics is enjoined. Yet almost every essay hedges, usually near the conclusion, with even the boldest of authors pleading and insisting that they are NOT islamophobic. I find this to be morally and intellectually dishonest, and extremely cowardly.
We all know that the root “phobia” means “fear”, and thus X-phobia means to have a fear of X. Given that, I would like to state plainly, unequivocally, and in no uncertain terms that I am an islamophobe. I fear anyone who identifies as muslim. (more…)

And they are being misled. “And they are misled by people who are using it for their selfish purposes, namely to remove regulations and reduce taxation,” he continued. “So reduce taxation and regulation. And they are being used and deceived.” (more) (more…)
Sheer Awesomeness !!(NewsMax) “Over this past week I have watched and listened to members of the House of Representatives from across the aisle. I am appalled at their ignorance, belligerence, and dishonest rhetoric filled with empty emotional platitudes. Have they no shame in realizing that their inept, incompetent failures are the reason why we are debating this continuing resolution. They failed to pass a budget during the 111th Congress. Have they no honor in realizing that their fiscal irresponsibility over the past four years has resulted in our standing on the precipice of a fiscal canyon from which we may not recover.
“Also troubling are the events in the state of Wisconsin which mirror those that happened in Greece several months ago. We are witnessing the abject hostility of a unionized entitlement class that is being lauded by the liberal left, seemingly to include our President“. (more…)
