I’ve been to many a wedding, but I’ve never heard anything that comes close to this father’s expression of love and joy for his daughter. No one that attended this wedding will ever forget what it meant to this man to be a father. Entertainment value = priceless!
First I find out police are shooting the paper ladies across the street from my old apartment building, now I find out the subject of their attention has been shopping not far from my house. Wow…how lucky can one Treeper get? (Looks out back window to see if drone is circling overhead….)
In the video below, Dorner appears to be laughing and chatting up the unknowing salesclerk. And, as always, he’s got that characteristic grin plastered on his face. He’s got to know he’s on a surveillance camera somewhere…..could this all be a decoy attempt? He (allegedly) tried to steal a boat in San Diego last week, now US Marshals say there is “probable cause to believe” Dorner has traveled to Mexico; however, there are no confirmed sightings… as yet.
In still another nauseating turn of events, a Facebook page entitled “I support Christopher Jordan Dorner”, has sprouted up with almost 16,000 likes from his sick supporters. “I love how the LAPD says ‘we will not stand for this reign of terror’ when they are the ones acting like terrorists,” one commenter wrote. O.J. Simpson 2.0…. 👿
Looks like the two ladies involved in the first police shooting have already lawyered up. Both Emma Hernandez, 71, and her daughter, 47 year old Margie Carranza, have retained attorney Glen T. Jonas, and they’ll soon be filing charges against detectives from the LAPD Hollywood devision, who were reportedly on a protective detail for an LAPD captain and his family named in Dorner’s manifesto.
“There was no warning, there was no orders or no commands… just gunshots,” Jonas told reporters.
He said that police “had the goal of administering street justice” and “didn’t take the time to notice that these two older, small Latina women didn’t look like a large black man.”
“We trust that the LAPD will step up and do the right thing and acknowledge that what they did was unacceptable and we’ll deal with it,” Jonas said.” (Read more…)

As I write this post, Christopher Dorner, a former LAPD officer suspected of killing three people, is still at large. Yesterday, thousands of police offices throughout Southern California and neighboring states searched for the man who warned in a lengthy manifesto that he would target those in the LAPD who had wronged him. Police went so far as to place more than 40 “protection details” on alert for those threatened by Dorner in his manifesto, and also pulled officers from motorcycle duty, fearing they would make for easy targets.
“I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty,” said the manifesto. It also asserted: “Unfortunately, I will not be alive to see my name cleared. That’s what this is about, my name. A man is nothing without his name.”

Today the Treehouse sends out enthusiastic wishes for a fantastic birthday to one of our own admins, Patriot Dreamer. PD, as she’s known to her bestest of friends, is the wit and wisdom behind our daily Bumper Sticker posts. She’s a complete whiz with her Photobucket account, and she’s usually the first of the admins to catch on to any gaming reference, or for that matter most pop-culture or movie references. She also calls herself a fan of all things Dr. Who, 
and a Star Trek “geek”.
PD grew up in North Carolina, however, being an Army spouse, she’s moved 5 times in just the last eight years. Being quick of mind, fleet of foot, and possessing the ability to travel light, she has all the necessary qualities for an excellent Treeper admin. (more…)

This segment of the interview centers around the inconsistencies in both Sybrina and Tracy’s testimony regarding their son’s voice. The fact that the State withheld information regarding who was in attendance during an earlier meeting where Serino questioned Martin is more than troubling. Officer Bill Irwin, the same person who did the voice stress analysis on George, was sitting in on the earlier questioning of Martin….a corroborating fact that, until now, was unknown to the defense. Why did Sanford Police Capt. O’Connor and the State keep this information from the defense until they were deposed? O’Mara states it’s the same issue they keep having with all the witnesses…“They change – particularly after conversations with the State.”
In one breath, “In Session” TV’s Jean Casarez defines the people’s viewpoint of George Zimmerman as, “…the most hated man in America.” Then she goes on to say, in an almost incredulous voice, “There are supporters of George Zimmerman.” In the video below, she probes into the sources behind Zimmerman’s defense fund.
Trayvon Martin’s family attorney Ben Crump, speaks with “In Session” TV correspondent Jean Casarez…and attempts to explain (as only he can) why he interviewed DeeDee shortly after Martin was shot.
Both attorneys appeared on AC360 tonight to discuss the latest photo of George Zimmerman…a high-resolution image showing Zimmerman with a bloody face and swollen nose. The defense did not receive this photo until late last October, having previously been given only a rather grainy black and white photocopy of the original.
