For any of you folks starting to feel a teensy bit sorry for Congressman Weiner, we have the following video showing his astonishing outburst towards House Republicans, specifically Peter King, last July 30th.  At issue was a bill to provide long-term medical benefits to 9/11 first responders. To prevent Republicans from adding any amendments to the bill, Democratic leaders adopted a procedure that put the bill directly to a vote – with no amendments – but required the bill to get a two-thirds majority to pass.  The bill was defeated, thus enraging Weiner. (Politico) Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) will resign from his seat in Congress, heeding calls from President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and dozens of other congressional Democrats, sources confirm to POLITICO. The resignation ends nearly three weeks of tumultuous political controversy since the New York congressman sent a lewd picture of himself over Twitter which he claimed at first was a result of a hack, and later admitted he had sent himself. Weiner has told friends that he plans to resign his seat after coming under growing pressure from his Democratic colleagues to leave the House, said a person told of Mr. Weiner’s plans  His decision follows of revelations of his lewd online exchanges with women, said a person told of Mr. Weiner’s plans.  The news comes as Democratic leaders prepared to hold a meeting on Thursday to discuss whether to strip the 46-year-old Congressman of his committee assignments, a blow which would severely damage his effectiveness. Wasn’t it just last March 9th when Pimco (Pacific Investment Management Company), the world’s largest manager of mutual funds, announced it was dumping all of its US Treasury bond exposure and going to cash?  This should have set off huge warning signals to investors, and been a signal to the Federal Reserve that QEII was a step too far.  Moodys now threatens to lower US credit ratings unless we address spending limits and entitlement reform.  What has been Washington’s reaction to all of this?  So far, the administration has referred to it as a “bump in the road”, while others hint at the necessity for a QEIII.  How does Obama rationalize the situation in Greece?  Did the Greeks just run out of enough rich people willing to pay “their fair share”?

The same media that finds itself loath to search for the original birth certificate of a sitting President…the same media that shows such little interest in the academic records of that same president, however, wants your help in digging up dirt on an undeclared candidate.  The Washington Post is soliciting readers to help them ‘analyze and contextualize’ over 24,000 e-mails to and from former Governor Sarah Palin to be made public this Friday.

It’s been a tough week for the Left.  If they didn’t have enough trouble controlling their Weiner issues…now they’ve been driven to literal incontinence by Sarah Palin.  Just try Googling “Sarah Palin is scary”, and you’ll get almost seven million results!  Proof the leftists are soiling themselves in abject terror over the possiblily of a Palin run.

Sarah Palin’s been busy teaching her fellow Republicans a thing or two about how to create media “buzz”.  After politely declining an invitation to the New Hampshire Primary Debate set for June 13th, and eating breakfast and talking with the locals at the Golden Egg Restaurant in Portsmouh NH, Sarah once again boarded her tour bus–or as the boys at CBS like to refer to it….the harrowing caravan of death. 

Let me make one thing perfectly clear.  The police have been escorting Palin’s tour bus throughout each city she visits, however, they are in no way responsible for the media chaos that follows them.  The poor victimized media it would seem, are forced to follow the tour by speeding, tailgating, cutting off other cars, blasting through roundabouts, and passing on the right in order to keep up.  They say they have no other choice.  (Apparently not receiving an itemized schedule will absolve you of all guilt regarding the obeyance of traffic laws and public safety.)  Hey, it must be tough keeping up with a large and colorfully painted bus that’s not exactly speedy and decorated with the American flag! As day five of the One Nation tour concludes, we find the meme of Sarah the stupid somehow shifting to one of Sarah the publicity hound.  She’s “crazy brilliant” in her manipuplative use of the press to further her need for attention.  Perhaps the press now realize how completely stupid they made themselves look with their inane tales of aggrievement?  Perhaps not.  Many papers have gone so far as to relegate their Palin coverage to the entertainment section.  You see, she’s not a ‘real’ candidate, she knows frighteningly little about policy matters, however, she sure knows the tricks of celebrity.  One paper goes so far as to cast Sarah and her daughter Piper as a pair of conniving grifters promoting Mommie Dearest at the expense of a childhood education.
