(FoxNews)...(h/t PhillyCon)…The Tea Party is mourning the death of Philadelphia cheesesteak magnate Joey Vento, who over the past few years had earned a national reputation for his outspoken views on illegal immigration and other issues. Vento, the founder of the famed Geno’s Steaks, died Tuesday from a heart attack. He was 71.
The Independence Hall Tea Party Association released a statement describing him as a “great friend of the conservative cause and the Tea Party movement.” “Joey Vento was, and will always be, an inspiration to the cause of freedom and liberty,” association President Teri Adams said. (more…)
Perry Zooms to Front of Pack for 2012 GOP Nomination
(USA Today)…Just days after launching his campaign, Texas Governor Rick Perry surged into the lead of the race for the Republican nomination, according to a new Gallup poll released today. Perry leads former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, the previous front-runner, by 12 percentage points, 29%-17%. Texas Rep. Ron Paul places third with 10% support from those surveyed, followed by Rep. Michele Bachmann with 10%.
Romney maintained a fragile lead in Gallup’s polls for months and Perry’s ability to surpass him after only one full week of campaigning, at the time of the poll, shows how vulnerable Romney’s frontrunner status continues to be. In addition, Perry’s entrance into the race has slowed Bachmann’s steady rise in the polls despite her straw poll win in Iowa. (more…)

(DailyMail)…Nancy Reagan last night lost her balance and fell as she arrived to watch a speech by Republican freshman senator and Tea Party darling Marco Rubio The frail former First Lady was being escorted to her seat in the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, in Simi Valley, California, by Senator Rubio when she lost her footing and took a tumble. Mrs Reagan had asked Senator Rubio to speak at her late husband’s presidential library following his election to the U.S. Senate last year.

With enough Legos and a few rolls of duct tape, anything can be accomplished!
Now bear in mind…the people writing this article are the same people who followed Obama around Martha’s Vineyard in 2009 busily tweeting about what flavor ice cream he and the girls were eating. What a difference two years and a crashing economy can make. It would have been unbelievable to see a comment like the following back then. “Obama is saying yes, we can get control of the national debt. But ominously every time he says that he adds that trillions of dollars in infrastructure repairs are badly needed across the country. And with interest rates so low, according to the thinking on Obama’s planet, now is an excellent time to borrow even more money.” (more…)
Enjoy a little of the art and imagination of Berkeley Breathed. I only hope I live long enough to see the day they’ll have to set limits on them.

Earlier this week Anthony Bourdain made some rather disparaging remarks regarding Paula Deen’s rather rich style of cooking. She takes care of everything, even vacuum seals the food ingredients and you should do the same, find best vacuum sealers from Vacuum Sealer Research, you even save money if you vacuum seal your food. Well the folks at the Imus Show took it and ran with it. Here’s their rendition of Paula Deen’s Thanksgiving recipe for… “When Pigs Fly’ pork loaf. HILARIOUS! (“It’s a great appetizer y’all.”)
Remember these words of comfort spoken back in 2009? (What? Are you saying Marxists lie?)

Do you remember what prices were like back in the 60’s? Yeah…a lot cheaper than they are now. Wait until you see just how much cheaper.
(Buzzfead)…It’s not easy to pay $2.00 for a cup of coffee. Especially when you see what it cost in 1960. That and everything else! You’ll be amazed when you look back at what some things cost in 1960.

This is red meat meant to play well with the thug constituency. Maxine is letting the dogs out…giving the okay that it’s all right to crack a few heads to win an election. What you’re hearing in Water’s voice is ‘fear’. She knows the real world is calling, and it’s on speed dial.
