Someone offended the student football players’ racial sensibilities – though there’s no real examples of what issues could be the origin. The college president didn’t address racial grievances from the student body when they ambushed him at a homecoming football game. Now they demand the President be fired.
*Note* This is the same football team where Michael Sam (remember the weeks-long MSM deal –February ’14-about the gay player and the NFL draft) played football and graduated. It appears there’s some systemic left-wing activism inherent within the university.

MISSOURI – Missouri’s head coach has backed his players after they announced a boycott of all football-related activities until their university president resigns in the midst of a racism crisis on campus.
At least 32 members of the Mizzou Tigers football team, including starting running back Russell Hansbrough, released a statement through Twitter on Saturday night saying they would not participate until Tim Wolfe quits ‘due to his negligence towards marginalized students’.
On Sunday head coach Gary Pinkel posted on social media that he supported his player’s decision not to play while Missouri governor Jay Nixon said senior staff at the university need to address ‘racism and intolerance’ on campus.
The team have joined campus groups who have been protesting the way Wolfe has dealt with issues of racial harassment during the school year, including two acts of vandalism, where swastikas were drawn inside college dormitories – one of them was reportedly smeared with human feces.
But Wolfe has refused to step down, even though he has admitted that racism on campus is a ‘systematic problem’.
Their next game is on Saturday against BYU at Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs, and canceling it could cost the school millions.
Jonathan Butler, a black graduate student, is in the sixth day of a hunger strike to call attention to the issue.
The statement from the players included a photograph of 32 black men.
The message reads: ‘The athletes of color on the University of Missouri football team truly believe ‘Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice Everywhere’ We will no longer participate in any football related activities until president Tim Wolfe resigns or is removed due to his negligence toward marginalized students’ experience. WE ARE UNITED!!!!!’ (read more)
